All,

The video says it all, but here we go again.

My father is on his last days on this earth.
He is incarcerated for killing my mother.
I feel called to go and make my peace with him by letting him know that I forgive him and that I am sorry he was so sick and felt unloved that he had to do what he did.

I want to see him face to face for the first time in 27 years and hopefully make peace with this darkness that has built an uncomfortable/comfortable home in my mind, body, and soul.

This effort will cost me to travel, and moreover to take the time afterward to decompress and utilize some healing services and providers who understand what I am about to do and are ready to help.

I don't know what else to say.

I am trying to do the unthinkable because it has been the only thing I have felt I needed to do to make some peace for many, many years.

Please help if you can, whether by donating or by sharing this with your network.

I understand that there is a need for bravery in forgiveness,
