Happy New Year Everyone ✨

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas/ New Year and a well deserved break. I know I sure did.

A new year leads me to a difficult decision I have been wrestling with. 2022 was a massive year I think I can say for most people. Especially in the wedding industry. It feels like we barely made it to the end of the year. ✨
Let alone those that have full time jobs as well as side hustles.

I am very grateful I have fulfilled my dream of nailing travelling as a wedding florist. It’s not an easy thing, as florists need a surprising amount of tools you can’t take on planes, and a crazy amount of time. As much as I have enjoyed creating for all my Beautiful couples who put their trust in me. The travelling solo wedding florist has completely worn me down.

Which is why I am announcing that I will be taking a break from wedding flowers for most of this year. I have a beautiful wedding I am excited to create for in a few weeks that will be a ‘Grande Finale’ for a little while. And begin to enjoy my job and new life for a little while in Mackay I may have a ‘Reboot’ later in the year.

My style is ‘wild and whimsical garden florals’ and I really love when clients choose me for my style, and trust in that.

But watch this space as new exciting things to come ✨

What a month August was… 4 weddings in 5 weeks… Which included 6 flights, 5 of them delayed 1 cancelled. Along with working a normal job. I won’t lie, creating florals is sometimes hardwork not just physically. This year has been very exhausting… working logistics, travel and availability of flowers this year. But in saying that, seeing it all come together and seeing the couple happy makes all the stress worth it.
Sometimes being kind can go a long way 💜 no one knows what another is going through. 💜

I have EXCITING NEWS to share💗

Not just the fact that I love when my bouquet matches my sleeves haha 💗

I am moving to Mackay at the end of the month to be closer to my other half and my sister and her little girl.💗

Wow 2021 what a year… this last week in particular has really knocked me over… So I will be taking off a much needed 2 weeks off to re coup… I have a couple quotes I will finish off today but … just a heads up to anyone contacting me over the holidays I’m sorry for the inconvenience but I will get back to you in the new year… this year has been hectic for the wedding industry….
