Home EdVenturers keen ghost hunters tried various gadgets to check for real spooks!
We heard how bells were fitted to coffins in the 1800's because so many coffins were found with fingernail scraping on the inside 😮
These 'safety coffins' gave the person inside a way to signal. A watchman would stand guard for at least 24hrs after the coffin was laid to rest, listening it for the bell. Giving rise to terms like the graveyard shift, saved by the bell and dead ringer #idioms
The first thing we all noticed at Bishop Percy's House was the delicious smell of fresh cakes from the tea room, but when you look closer these photos on the mantle weren't the only unusual thing in this 1580 Grade 1 listed building 👻
Fabulous experience for Home EdVenturers (National Events UK) as we headed back to the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry again last night, this time to see Fantastically Great Women the Musical
Kenny Wax Family Entertainment in association with MAST Mayflower Studios created this empowering pop musical.
We meet #fridakahlo #MarieCurie #emmelinepankhurst #MarySeacole and many more independent icons, who really did change the world.
It's so important all our children know these names, and understand their contribution to our lives, and this show certainly made an impression no textbook ever could!

Sometimes the issue with advanced planning is...
Home EdVenturers (Midlands) had a great, but very very hot day at Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre for some fun tubing sessions today.
The kids loved when the sprays were turned on going down the slopes, and needed lots of ice creams for afterwards!
Great fun was had by all ❤️
