Down a one lane road lies a picturesque new Venue where the beauty of country and simple elegance converge to create the perfect backdrop for your Special Occasion. Sunset Ridge Farm is now home to a Premier Wedding/Event Venue & Wilderness Lodge in Wellington, Ky only 28 miles from Interstate 64. Our totally secluded Destination Venue is located in Eastern KY among the Appalachian Mountains between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. We have limitless Sites for your Special Occasion including a Historical Barn, 2 Ponds with decks, Forest, Cliffs, Meadows, and even a Vintage Open Air Chapel. We host Weddings, Vow Renewals, Events, Reunions, Retreats, Corporate Occasions, or any Celebration your heart desires.
Lodging is available in our 4,500 sq. ft authentic Log Home, along with 50 private acres, for your enjoyment. During the off season rent the Lodge for just leisure. We are very passionate about being very eclectic and outside the box, focusing on your Occasion, that is dictated by personality and not necessarily tradition, but is of course utterly gorgeous and filled with love. Offering the entire 50 acres for your treasured Event, makes this Secluded Wilderness Hideout, one of a kind. If you have a unique vision for a Site, we can make it happen. We presently can accommodate up to 250 guests on most Sites.
Our Historic 6,600 sq. ft. two story Barn, that once housed a barn full of horses, 13 stalls, a tack room, and us while we waited anxiously all night for a mare to foal, has now transformed into a wonderland for you to make unforgettable memories. Retaining the vintage charm by leaving all the old wood and character intact, we added our own creative facet to its new purpose. The rustic appeal, intertwined with elegant chandeliers, string lights, and flowing drapery, will give your stylish Occasion a romantic flair. Brides you can exit the Bridal Suite, go up a secret passage, and make your grand entrance ascending down the spectacular handcrafted staircase. What once was the corral for mares & foals, is becoming a outdoorsy patio that overlooks the peaceful upper pond, for your guests to mingle.
