Our Vision
YOUNG PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR A UNITED, SOLIDARY EUROPE!
A new festival, which differs from well-known festival-structures, for young people from all over Europe comes into existence for the first time in 2019. It unites open-minded people with a common vision of a peaceful and united Europe. We live on a great continent full of diversity and possibilities and Eurovercity is set to celebrate this very unique combination of diversity and unity.
Why Eurovercity? Racism and nationalism, right-wing populism and a deep misunderstanding between European nations are not problems from the past but present and contemporary issues. Eurovercity wants to set a clear mark against these recent developments. We stand for an open-minded, welcoming and tolerant Europe where the people are the central point, independent of religion or nationality. We are proud of the diversity of our continent, its’ different people and cultures. Eurovercity provides a platform to connect people from different European countries, to get to know each other, exchange informations and share a vision.
What´s the meaning of Eurovercity? Eurovercity connects the terms “Europe”, “Diversity” and “City”. Thereby it includes the central vision and intention of the festival: a young generation that wants to set a mark and to demonstrate a united and diverse Europe. On the other hand the name represents the unique concept of this festival. A huge, colourful city consisting of many different and unique "suburbs" that will be build on the festival ground.
