Vendor appreciation post ✨: Sharon at and her incredible paper making magic is one of my all time favorite small batch artisans to work with. Because this is pure art- hand made to order, delicate forest blend tissue paper with all of its perfect wisps flowing throughout. This gorgeous batch was transformed into envelope liners and invitation jackets and was the ultimate piece that tied two whole suites together ✨

Stamp showcase✨ My favorite part of final assembly is custom curating a postage palette for your envelopes. I believe that, when done right, your stamps serve as a preview of what’s to come, and set the stage for your invitation reveal. Check us out on page 39 of the new summer/fall 22 edition of Metro Detroit Weddings magazine! I LOVE working with Meghan of Meaghan Keck / Photo, Product & Flat Lay Stylist]], and when she invited me to be a part of this editorial, she enticed me with a mood board I couldn’t resist. She asked me to create an architecturally inspired suite, full of bold shapes, bold colors, bold love.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This suite was inspired by the Guardian Building and filled with shapes that you can spot in the rich Art Deco design of the building. I envisioned the experience one has when they stand in the lobby and look into the dense enfilade architecture, a tunnel of mosaics and colors and angles that all fit together like a kaleidoscope. I custom cut the envelopes to reflect the silhouette of the Monel metalwork screen in the lobby, and intentionally double and triple mounted color trims on each of the cards to create the same visual layered effect of an in person visit. This is why I love custom wax seals - they are the easiest element to help pull your stationery together from invitation to the day of. For Lindsay and Alex’s wedding, we carried the wax seal from their invitation to the place cards, and then later to their thank you cards. With one simple embellishment, their whole stationery story was cohesive and easy to identify ✨

The best guest welcome gift bags of the year! Robyn and Jason’s deluxe take on their wedding at the Shinola Hotel was absolute perfection, and the cherry on top were these fantastic bags. Custom monogram branded throughout, hand calligraphed welcome letters, and most importantly, cookies 🍪 !

Happy Friday! I am so happy to be at the end of the longest week. Between unpacking the studio, storming through five amazing client projects, and meeting with a number of new potential clients, I have sufficiently tapped myself out for this week. But I am so very grateful that I have such amazing work, such meaningful work, to keep me busy. I never take for granted this incredible privilege that my clients give me to stretch myself creatively every day for them. I love what I do and I hope I get the opportunity to work with more of you visionaries out there!

Studio Update! We’ve successfully landed in California and have been working on unpacking the studio. The biggest Studio Update 🥳🥳🥳!
I’ve been procrastinating this announcement for quite some time now, especially amidst the recent tragedies, but time doesn’t slow down for any of us and I have to update you all before it’s too late! *Drum Roll*… The Ambrosia Rabbit is MOVING TO THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We leave Detroit by the end of next week 😱 and while I am SO sad to leave this incredible city and this amazing community, I am very excited to expand into the west coast.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For my clients and future potential clients based in the Detroit area…fear not! The best thing about my services is that bespoke stationery can be done remote, and day of details can be coordinated easily with my amazing network of local vendors and planners. I will continue to serve my clients nationwide as I have always done so…it just will no longer be “Made in Detroit, for you and yours” 🙃.
