Want your business to be the top-listed Event Planning Service?
Whos4science was set up in 2017 by Cliodhna Quirke in Milltown County Kerry. Cliodhna is a mom of three children and a science teacher in Presentation Secondary School Milltown. Frustrated by the lack of science-related activities for primary school children, Cliodhna decided to set-up whos4science.
Whos4science run fun, interactive STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) related parties, camps and workshops throughout County Kerry. All the activities at Whos4science are 100% interactive where the children, under supervision, carry out the experiments themselves. They get to take home the items which they design and make at Whos4science.
Whos4science science parties are 1 hour 15 minutes long. Cliodhna comes to your home or location of your choice and carries out 2 or 3 experiments with the children. All the children do the experiments themselves in small groups. You can choose from an array of activities including lava lamps, slime, rockets, chemical reactions and explosions. The cost is 14 euro per child with discounts for larger groups.
Whos4science summer science camps are 5 days long Monday-Friday 10-1pm. These are held in various locations throughout the county so keep an eye on this page for details. There are many experiments carried out during the camps including electricity, microscopes, magnetism, bouncing bubbles, lava lamps, slime, explosions and rockets. We are constantly updating existing and introducing new experiments. Whos4science summer camps cost 75 euro per child (with sibling discounts) and cater for up to 30 children. We hope to introduce Halloween and Easter camps in 2019/20.
