We are now less than 14 weeks away from Breaking Bands Festival IX and we are very excited to bring you a couple of updates.

We have recently opened up the applications for bands to take the opening slots on both Saturday & Sunday. So far we've had over 200 bands apply for these slots and we are looking through them all. We'll be announcing those final bands in March.

Our latest count up shows that we have just 28 weekend tickets left for sale. We'll have a limited number of day tickets available for sale next week along with the day splits which will be announced at the same time.

The festival merch is almost ready and looking very awesome. You'll as always, be able to pre-order for collection at the festival or chance it on the day.

Now for a couple of band announcements...

Firstly, we have added one more band to the weekend as we realised there was still another slot left. We've had this band recommended to us and have really enjoyed watching a number of their videos so we are delighted to add FRAKARD to the line-up.

Frakard are a Cardiff based Trio of Loud that dabbles in the world of Alt Rock.
Originally crafted in 2018, rebooted in 2021/22. Armed with a perfected live show that will realign your faith in what a raw rock experience should be.

Also, as you know we have a warm up night before the main band days and this year it will be Friday night. Mucka Jay's Music Quiz will get the party started and this year we are adding a bit of a bonus with a rock and metal covers band to get that party going. So we'd like to welcome Fraxure, an 80s inspired British heavy metal band hailing from the West Midlands, who have been selling out shows and captivating their audiences time after time. There will be singing, dancing and moshing til the end of the night to warm us all up for an incredible weekend.

NEWS, TICKETS & UPDATES:

Well, we made it to February and we are now just 16 weeks away from the 9th installment of the triple award winning Breaking Bands Festival.

Couple of things to update you all on...

***WE HAVE 35 WEEKEND TICKETS REMAINING AND THATS IT***

We still have opening slots for both Saturday & Sunday and with our new sponsors on board, these are going to be applications which will open soon (do not email, wait for the info to appear on here).

Friday quiz is on along with something a little different to get you right into the festival weekend mood which we will announce very soon.

Day tickets will be on sale shortly along with the announcements of the day splits and times. Sorry for the delay, we are sorting this asap.

Festival merch will be going on sale soon as well. We'll have some very special items this year printed by STMS Studio so keep an eye out for that.

The festival app will be updated with all the info for the festival weekend this month including the times of bands, the for fans of, the traders, prices for the beer and food and info on everything else.

So please get your friends tagged if they are not already coming as once these 35 tickets are gone thats it. Day tickets will be extremely limited as we are almost capacity now so don't delay. Tickets can be purchased only via bbfest.uk and not from some randoms that will post below (which we will delete and ban them).

Hello you crazy bees, we hope you are all doing well!

We are delighted to announce our final batch of bands for 2024 along with our final headliner for the event!

Our Sunday headliner is the fantastic Dan Byrne! Dan has recently been working with Myke Grey and headlined festivals such as Stonedead Festival singing for the band SKIN. A wonderful addition to the line-up and we look forward to welcoming Dan with open arms!
