I will always advocate for a planner and coordinator because we take over the weight of wedding planning so you and your family can be PRESENT.

In the three and a half weeks since our last adoption special, we have taken in nearly 1,000 new pets at KC Pet Project. It's been several incredibly busy weeks back to back with so many animals coming in. This means we have hundreds of pets that are ready to go to new homes! From Friday, November 22nd through Tuesday, November 26th, dogs 30 pounds or more and all adult cats will be just $30 at our KC Campus for Animal Care, Zona Rosa Adoption Center, and Petco Adoption Center on 95th Street (cats only) locations. Pets in foster homes also qualify!

New pets become available every day at the shelter, and you can start looking for your perfect match now by visiting our website at https://kcpetproject.org/adopt/ or downloading our free mobile app. Help us find homes for deserving pets this weekend! We are full, full, full and are counting on great adoptions this weekend to help us make space for incoming pets!

Hi! My name is Theresa and I am a local event/wedding coordinator and officiant in Kansas City!

This has been a big year! I got engaged and planned my husband and I’s civil wedding ceremony and destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with the help of Armajit with .com_.

We moved into the city!! We love being nearby our most favorite places like .topic, Green Lady Lounge, and ♥️

We became dog parents to Ozzie in May! We’re forever thankful to ✨ Ozzie is a Chinese Sharpei mix and he is the goodest and greatest boy I’ve ever known. He is my first fur baby and I’m just in love with his personality and his sweet soul. He loves cheese, socks (😅🫣) and cuddles. He is spoiled rotten and I don’t care who knows it!

This year has held lots of new beginnings and very bittersweet goodbyes and endings. Every day I’m learning so much about myself and how joy and grief are able to co-exist. It’s been the best and hardest year yet but I’m very thankful to have my family and friends near and close ☺️ Brock has been my greatest support and so gracious as I continue to try to be the best coordinator, dog momma and wifey.

Today I count my blessings. I’m looking forward to more good days in Kansas City✨
