Despite overwhelming confirmation that we live in the darkest timeline, Team Cryptid will continue to try to give people a refuge from the horrors by sticking to doing what we have been doing for almost a year. Our shows are safe spaces in which people can expect to be seen and treated with respect, and we oppose bigotry and authoritarianism.

We will hopefully see you on Friday at the Kato Ballroom.

Last night's show at Patrick's was unforgettable! We love working with Beulah Rue, and The Quilz were phenomenal- we will definitely be reaching out to them again!

Our first two shows with Patrick's on Third were a lot of fun, they treated Team Cryptid extremely well, and we hope to put together a lot more live music events with them going forward!

We are happy to confirm that the 2024 Widow's Ball will be on November 16th at the Kato Ballroom. We have confirmed one band so far, we will hopefully have the remainder of the lineup announced soon.

We also will be doing a Winter Solstice show on December 21st at the Ballroom as well.

What a killer night! Thank you all so much for coming!

A huge, huge thanks to Witch Syndicate for stepping in to fill in for Trevor, who was, like all of Team Cryptid other than Bob, laid out with Covid.

A huge thanks to Dusty Mayfield and Henri Roe for some much needed backup!

Seriously, it was an unbelievable night with four killer performances!

Hey! Do you like Mothman? Do you like free stickers? Do you, perhaps, desire FREE MOTHMAN STICKERS???

Well, if you've been to a Filthy Cryptid show, you know that we have free stickers to give away, and we just got a whole bunch more, because we ran out at Bob's Extreme Metal Birthday Show last week!

Some of these we have duplicates of, but there are a lot that we only got one of- so if you see one you really want, you'll need to show up early at our next show on September 14th!

We-he-hell now! Got three hours of extreme metal for all you cats and kittens out there in radio land...

Hour one- new brutal tracks from Nile, Wormed, and Carnophage, a "we love Italy" block with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vomit the Soul, Hideous Divinity, and Hour of Penance, and some other packs of growly dudes.

Hour two- we start with the lineup for the September 14th Kato Ballroom show and then feature tracks by Forever Falling, Red Vinter, Living Through Ghosts and Crone.

Hour three was born when Mikayla Tibbs asked me for some good dsbm to listen to and after I had three bands to suggest, I shrugged and started writing a playlist:

Our first Kato Ballroom show was a success!

We are intensely grateful to the bands, to the staff at the Ballroom for giving us a chance and working with us, and to everyone that showed up.
