We will be announcing several shows quite soon. We feel that in light of all the stupidity and horror that will be visited upon us all for the next few years that it's important to continue to enrich the community in the best way that we know how.

We hope that you'll join with us to welcome the immensely talented people that we will be working with, and that you will take away something from your time at our shows that helps you keep your head up.

If you are a part of or have contact information for any mutual aid organizations or other groups trying to help the community, please let us know so that we can use our space to help them network.

So remember that band that played two shows here Memorial Day Weekend? We have it on good authority that they're coming back. Details on that and a couple of other wig-flipping lineups soon.

A huge thanks to everyone that attended The Widow's Ball! We were really thrilled to be able to bring a goth-specific show to Mankato for the second year in a row, and two things dawned on us:

We definitely need to do this every year! It's a very different kind of show than that we usually put together (our next three shows as of this writing are metal shows) and we got a lot of compliments on the vibe and the bands that were selected.

The other takeaway is that we need to do more shows with post-punk, death rock, synth/darkwave, and similar genres, period.

If you weren't able to make it this year, try to keep it in mind for next year, we will try to keep it a November thing. Remember that this is an event that we encourage dressing the part for, if possible and that kind of thing is fun for you.

A huge thanks to Moonlit Mushroom, Stranger Gallery and ShadingtheSun! We will definitely be asking all three bands to return to the Mankato area for future gigs!

Despite overwhelming confirmation that we live in the darkest timeline, Team Cryptid will continue to try to give people a refuge from the horrors by sticking to doing what we have been doing for almost a year. Our shows are safe spaces in which people can expect to be seen and treated with respect, and we oppose bigotry and authoritarianism.

We will hopefully see you on Friday at the Kato Ballroom.

Last night's show at Patrick's was unforgettable! We love working with Beulah Rue, and The Quilz were phenomenal- we will definitely be reaching out to them again!

Our first two shows with Patrick's on Third were a lot of fun, they treated Team Cryptid extremely well, and we hope to put together a lot more live music events with them going forward!

We are happy to confirm that the 2024 Widow's Ball will be on November 16th at the Kato Ballroom. We have confirmed one band so far, we will hopefully have the remainder of the lineup announced soon.

We also will be doing a Winter Solstice show on December 21st at the Ballroom as well.

What a killer night! Thank you all so much for coming!

A huge, huge thanks to Witch Syndicate for stepping in to fill in for Trevor, who was, like all of Team Cryptid other than Bob, laid out with Covid.

A huge thanks to Dusty Mayfield and Henri Roe for some much needed backup!

Seriously, it was an unbelievable night with four killer performances!
