How did this come to be? Flowers by Erin came to be after I realized just how much I enjoy creating flower arrangements. For me it’s all about the composition and combination of textures and colors. I have a design background and have done flowers for a small handful of celebrations, including my own wedding. I know how to make it more affordable and I want to do this simply for the joy it brings me.

How do you make it more affordable than a typical flower shop? I will be working out of a DIY (do-it-yourself) space at Market Flowers at the Glendale Farmer's market in Minneapolis. The flowers are wholesale price. You will be invoiced for the exact cost of the flowers in addition to my fee for creating the arrangements and/or delivery. The larger the arrangements, the more expensive it will be. If you decide you need to have a certain flower and that flower is a bit pricey, it will become more expensive. Since the DIY space is a part of Market Flowers, I can only use their flowers (which are good quality, by the way).

What if I want specific flowers? If you are really set on a very specific look for the flowers and are not at all flexible with the type of flowers used, this might not be the right fit. However, if you know you really love a certain flower and want to incorporate it, you are able to pre-order flowers directly from Market Flowers (as long as it's at least two weeks prior to the event), but I cannot guarantee specific flowers will be available for any specific day otherwise. With that said, the ideal scenario would be for you to provide me with a few photo examples of styles of arrangements that you like and a general color palette you’re looking for. I’m also happy to avoid certain flowers if you do not like them - I get it. Keep in mind some flowers are priced higher than others. With that said, I usually like to have some diversity in the arrangements I create to balance the budget.

I’m wondering how much this will cost. I’m happy to give you a quote, but in order for me to do this as accurately as I can, I need to have a really good idea of what you need. Cost will of course depend on what you're looking for. Things that will be helpful to know in order to provide a quote:
