🚨 CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The world’s favourite Dutch violinist and conductor, André Rieu, is set to return to Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday 18 October 2025 with a spectacular new show.

Accompanied by his renowned 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra and international soloists, the “King of Waltz” promises an evening of music, entertainment, and joy that transcends generations and musical tastes.

The concert will feature a vibrant and diverse programme, blending opera classics, iconic film scores, romantic ballads, and, of course, the waltzes that have made Rieu a global sensation and a household name.

Presented by MAC Global and in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, Rieu’s return follows the record-breaking success of his 2024 Abu Dhabi performance, which drew 12,000 attendees and set a new record for the largest audience for a classical concert in UAE history.

“I am so excited to return to Abu Dhabi!” says Rieu. “It is always a special experience to perform for such passionate audiences. Together with my Johann Strauss Orchestra, we will bring you an unforgettable evening filled with waltzes, opera arias, beautiful songs, and a lot of fun! We’ll make sure it’s a night to remember.”

For fans of music stats and facts … this week marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Goldie’s classic, “Inner City Life”.

It was released on 21 November 1994 and is widely considered one of the most iconic DnB tracks of its era, if not all time; its influence can still be felt today.

Kasabian’s Tom Meighan Brings His “RAW25” Acoustic Tour To Dubai

Tom Meighan, former Kasabian frontman and the unmistakable voice behind a generation of rock anthems, will perform in Dubai on 1 February 2025 at the P7 Arena, Media One Hotel.

This exclusive one-night-only acoustic set is part of his critically acclaimed RAW tour, which has grabbed the attention of audiences in 70 grassroots venues across the UK and Ireland throughout 2024.

Stripping things back to the fundamentals of acoustic guitars and a stomp-box, Tom Meighan’s latest solo tour has been hailed for its authenticity, showcasing his powerful primal vocals and shamanic energy on both his solo material and the Kasabian classics.

Speaking about the upcoming Dubai gig, Tom said: “I can’t wait to come to Dubai for this intimate little shindig. It’s gonna be a stripped-back acoustic set, and I’ll be singing the old Kasabian favourites as well as some of my solo stuff. It’ll be a banging night, and I can’t wait to see you there.”

🎹 We’re super excited that Lang Lang will be playing a Steinway x Disney: Mickey Mouse limited edition piano during his concert at Etihad Arena on 22 November 2024

The limited edition D274 Spirio R model is hand-painted and designed to capture the charm and whimsy of Mickey Mouse.

Created by acclaimed Italian artist Elena Salmistraro, this particular piano is number 17 of only 25 that were created and shipped around the world.

Elena Salmistraro, the artist and designer behind the Mickey Mouse–inspired Steinway piano, said: “To design this Steinway piano, I drew from Mickey Mouse’s joyful and energetic personality, infusing those qualities into what I believe is a vibrant and powerful design.

For the piano keyboard, I chose a blue gradient, as I feel that blue captures the tonal essence of music and sound. I’ve always loved Disney because it connects with people’s emotions — and that’s exactly what I strive to achieve in my work every day.”

We can’t wait to hear Lang Lang play it.
