Another custom order completed today and I just love it. Big, bold and beautiful!
Subtle pops of yellow come from the Mimosa & Craspedia, warmth from roses and dahlias, statement hydrangeas and lots of limonium tataricum - I love how these look like clouds of tiny stars ✨

My latest custom make was named after my mum, Anita; the meaning behind her name is grace and I wanted the design to have elements of elegance and vibrancy. It’s big and bold and will hold its own on a wall. Looking forward to sharing of a pic of it in its new home

A P R I C I T Y
I woke up this morning and listened to the sound of silence. The kind of silence that comes with snow. Creativity sparking and the excitement of trying to recreate the beauty of winter. Crispness, delicacy, fragility but with all of that, a warmth that we all seek to help us through the colder, darker months.

R E S T A R T
It’s been an ease myself back in gently approach to the new year. I’ll admit, it hasn’t been easy. After a manic end to last year and a few weeks of illness I’m not in a position to hit the ground running.

I’d lost my creativity vibe, my mojo. I felt uninspired. I knew it would come back and there’s no point rushing it because I knew that would come across in my creations.

Today seems brighter. The sun is shining, the skies are bright and I allowed myself to have a little play with some dried flowers. I rearranged a few things and finally dressed the new shelves.

I’m listening to my gut, ignoring the pressures of social media and trying to follow a natural path. If you’re still reading, thanks and I hope this resonates with some of you lovely humans too 🩷

Ok so I haven’t been completely awol but it feels like it! I’ve been grabbing 5 minutes here and there to create but mostly just overwhelmed and all consumed by life since moving. Nearly 3 weeks in and it’s feels like home 🏡
I’m working on Autumn and Christmas simultaneously and I’m excited to share with you very soon. First stop is the Autumn Craft Fair this Saturday in Holt, all arranged by 🍂

A U T U M N
It’s always love at first sight with Spring; the hope, the new life, the bursts of colour after the darkness of Winter. Then Summer arrives (sometimes, I think!) and it’s buzzing with nature’s song, the days are long and dreamy. Autumn appears in a day; the leaves change colour, the scent in the air changes, the chill in the morning that’s quickly forgotten when the Autumnal sun warms your face. I can’t pick a favourite because every season has something special about it. The advantage of gathering flowers and foliage over the year and drying them to preserve their beauty gives me the luxury of not having to choose. Beauty, every day of the year 🩷

Sorry! Yes it’s September still but the festive season will soon be upon us and the diary gets busy. Christmas Craft Fayres are coming in thick and fast so I’m going to start booking in the Christmas Wreath Workshops 🎄
