This week marked the start of , and we want to take the next few weeks to highlight some of last season’s amazing performers and partners!

Today, we’re traveling back to August 17 to the original African music festival palmwinefest! After making its US debut with us in 2023, came back to for another amazing show with SDC - SHOW DEM CAMP, The Cavemen., and friends in association with Move Forward Music🌴

Catch Four Solos by Merce Cunningham—Changeling (1957), Solo (1975), and excerpted solos from RainForest (1968) and Travelogue (1977)—and a world premiere from award-winning contemporary choreographer John Scott and Tony-nominated composer Mel Mercier, inspired by their work within Merce Cunningham and John Cage’s artistic universe, from February 12-16 at Irish Arts Center.

We are excited to announce that City Parks Foundation has been awarded a $30,000 grant by the National Endowment for the Arts! This grant will help support our annual SummerStage NYC festival, presenting FREE concerts and arts programming to New Yorkers across all five boroughs.

We look forward to our Charlie Parker Jazz Festival every year, but now it’s time to look back at our 32nd celebration of “The Bird” himself! We hope everyone had a fantastic time in Marcus Garvey and Tompkins Square Park 🎶

It might officially be fall, but we still have more #SummerStage for you!
