Dulcie & Chris’ wedding was full of autumn vibes, gorgeous details, and the cutest guest! 🍂

Dogs at weddings = the best thing ever 🐾

Sophie & Dan’s engagement shoot at the Forest of Bere was everything! Soft sunset light, the most gorgeous forest setting, and their adorable dachshund, Walter 🐾

Engagement shoots are such a lovely way to celebrate this exciting chapter of your lives. They’re also perfect for getting confident in front of the camera before your wedding day (it’s so much more relaxed than you’d think!).

If you’re considering one, my advice? Pick a location that feels special to you, dress for the vibe (hello cosy neutrals or flowy dresses!), and bring anything that’s part of your story… Like a furry best friend 🐶

Shauna & Scott’s intimate wedding day was all kinds of lovely 🥂💛

They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Wi******er Registry Office and then took some extra time for a relaxed couple’s shoot around the city. Honestly, I loved this idea! It gave them a quiet moment together (perfect for introverted hearts) and some stunning portraits to treasure. ✨

One of the most beautiful wedding venues in the UK? Watermouth Cove in North Devon is one of my personal favourites! 🌿✨

The Viewpoint offers a unique blend of natural beauty and coastal charm, with stunning beach views and the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies. It’s a total win for romantic, outdoor-loving couples. Oh, and did I mention it’s dog friendly? 🐾

Plus, there are a wealth of striking photography backdrops, from the private cove and beach, to the clifftops that get the most stunning sunsets, and even a couple of sea caves (which might be my personal favourite!)

🌿 Embracing World Introvert Day 🌿

January 2nd is World Introvert Day, and for me, it’s the perfect moment to pause after the whirlwind of the festive season. Today will be a calm day with some gentle planning for the year ahead and a good walk with Winnie in the woods.

As a wedding photographer, I absolutely adore capturing the joy, connection, and celebration of wedding days. But after all that energy and emotion, I often need a quiet day of editing and admin with a scented candle flickering nearby, a cup of coffee in hand, and some soft music in the background to recharge.

If you’re newly engaged and the idea of planning a wedding feels a little overwhelming, especially if big celebrations aren’t your style, know that it’s okay. Your wedding can be as intimate and low-key as you’d like - it should feel right for you.

On my blog, I’ve shared advice for introverted couples, including ideas for creating a wedding day that’s meaningful, personal, and stress-free. Whether you’re planning a small, heartfelt gathering or thinking of ways to simplify a larger celebration, there are so many ways to make the process enjoyable and uniquely yours.

These two were absolute magic 💫 Pippa and Drew’s day was soft, romantic, and a relaxed whimsical vibe. An absolute dream! One of the most amazing confetti shots, and The Gilbert White gardens gave us the perfect backdrop for some dreamy couple shots.

💫 Don’t hide your wedding cake away in the corner. Please don’t place it next to the fire extinguishers, or in a dark un-lit corner. Instead, pick a standout location that’ll turn heads and make it photo-worthy!
🌸 Surround it with beauty! Flower meadows, elegant draping and gorgeous cakes can add an extra touch of magic.
❤️ Make it a centerpiece. Whether it’s during the reception or cutting the cake, give it its moment!
😍 Personalise it! Add a unique touch that ties into your wedding theme or vibe.

Olivia & Ali’s wedding was nothing short of perfection! ✨ Their beach wedding was everything a coastal wedding celebration should be, fun, joyful and relaxed! The day started with the groom and groomsmen taking a quick dip in the sea while the girls prepped, followed by an outdoor ceremony and windswept photos that captured all the seaside charm.
