Golden hour love at Ecola State Park with Kassi & Koi:

These two are getting married next summer at Mount St. Helens, but they chose the Oregon coast for their engagement session—drawn to the peaceful waves and lush greenery. Koi, though naturally introverted and new to photo shoots, embraced the moment, and it was so easy to capture the quiet, genuine love between them.

Their connection is effortless, intimate, and full of warmth—and sessions like this remind me why I love photographing couples in love.

There’s something so special about love and new beginnings, and Hannah & Ryan are living both with a little one on the way. We met at Rowena Crest for their engagement and maternity session, and the golden sunset couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for their story. The way they laugh together, the quiet moments they share—it was all magic.

Looking back, my younger self wouldn’t believe how far I’ve progressed as a photographer. It’s amusing to reflect on my earlier work now. I’ve gained invaluable insights from the mistakes I’ve made, leading to the establishment of a successful business that can support my fiancé and I’s lifestyle. I recall the days of struggling to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck just to cover rent. I’m grateful that I no longer rely on my mom for financial assistance, and I can now treat her to dinner haha. Enjoy this last engagement session I did in Portland. 😇

I’ve always had this weird fear of social media. SoI’m challenging myself to post more. I’ve had so many awesome moments (especially last year), but for some reason I ended up just keeping them to myself 😅 Well, I’m gonna try to change that and start posting more! This shoot at Smith Rock was amazing—even with the clouds, the pics turned out beautifully! Enjoy this beautiful session with Caroline and Michael 😎
