Bringing a small number of Celebrants together to the intimate, relaxing setting of a 16th century Cumbrian wedding & events venue is finally coming together.

Who wants to be a Queen B for the weekend?

This weekend symposium (or shall I call it a Celebrant sleepover) will give newly qualified / inexperienced Celebrants the opportunity to walk away with some fabulous new experiences (and new friends) without being tied to another classroom style get away.

This promises to be a unique experience where you will gain invaluable skills to help you create the most memorable ceremonies, especially funeral & wedding ceremonies.

To register your interest and book your place, please email [email protected] stating your name, celebrant business name and IG account.

Currently 11 residential spaces available.

Opportunity for 1 day attendance on 20th April may become available so please confirm whether you are interested in residential or 1 day only.

Just got home to this email from the lovely Laura !!

Really warms the heart when suppliers take the time to review your work as I truly appreciate how busy they are right now-especially in Dubai.

When this said ‘I’m sorry, it’s really last minute, she wasn’t joking but ….we did it and we did it well!

This was a wedding where two different nationalities came together in love and to ensure their families truly understood the ceremony, we worked closely with an independent translator on their script.

Just like you search for the right wedding planner, wedding photograoher, the right dress, the musicians, etc … (often flying them into your destination wedding) - bringing in the right Celebrant who has international event experience, truly also makes all the difference.

Is it worth the extra money ?

We think so.

Thank you to those couples in Dubai this last week that have truly been amazing to work with. Proof is in the pudding (not the Xmas one) that choosing the right celebrant for you makes all the difference and is worth flying to any destination for ❤️ Hopefully see you in 2024 Dubai. Congratulations and here’s to their first Christmas’s as newlyweds ❤️ (used the downtime in between to move my ass on a bike this time!).

Just a sneaky peak into this totally awesome couples ceremony !

Their guests had travelled from all over the world to celebrate this unique, quirky wedding with E & T and it was such an honour to involve them in the ceremony.

It was my first experience of Cragwood Hotel and hopefully not my last. The staff were wonderful and friendly the second I stepped through their doors.

I was so excited to deliver my first ever neon vibe wedding, here in the very centre of my birth City - Carlisle.

J & A contacted me almost two years ago to book their date in with me so when we finally got to their wedding day on Saturday - it truly had been a long time in the making.

From 'Eaten by Monsters' to the 'Halston Hotel', the journey was a colourful one and they even took the time to message me yesterday with these lovely words:

'We just wanted to say thank you so much for our wedding ceremony yesterday. It was so lovely and we got loads of compliments on how unique our ceremony was. It was such a good day and we are so thankful you were part of it.'

The staff at the Halston Hotel were just fab, all over the little details and made me feel extremely welcome from the onset.

Can I just take a moment out of this bloody gorgeous day to say WOW!!!

So many fabulous elements to todays wedding that represented my couple. The readings were a secret to me which is always a bit dodgy because I’m a crier and yes, I had to hide my eyes behind the post a couple of times today.

Swords, Viking keys, flame, coins (the yummy chocolate variety 😊) and various other symbolic rituals truly made this wedding just perfect for the Bride and her Groom.

you guys nailed it once again and I’m so delighted to finally get outside for a ceremony there. Sunglasses in October - Blessed Be ❤️

I actually had a little cry on this route ! The supporters were amazing , Megan was amazing for rescuing us from the flash floods and giving us the warmth of her car for 4hrs as no one could get out after the run!!!

So pleased with my achievement considering injury and I’m definitely inspired to keep going now.

This venue is very private and secluded with a few different options for ceremony space.
The grounds don’t need much in way of decor as you are literally surrounded by heartwarming scenery and fabulous, luxurious decor within the house and grounds.

I was going to wait until I got home and put these amazing little bites on a pretty plate before posting ….BUT they were too irresistible!!

I’ve met the lovely Lucy from twice in a week and something is telling me I am going to see a lot more of her in future.

Lucy and her wonderful team cater such delicious and tastefully colourful food for events and weddings ( wish she lived next door to me 😍).
