Why we do this. I received this beautiful picture of our lovely bride Cat, who got married yesterday, taken by her friend at the Renaissance St Pancras Hotel where they were getting ready. I will post more later, but this one was just so good I thought it should have its own post. A lovely thoughtful moment captured forever. After a rainy start to Sunday, the sun came out for Lotta and Niro’s wedding . The flowers were classic white roses and eucalyptus and ruscus, simple and beautiful. Congratulations to the bride and groom, thanks for choosing us. Massive thanks to for all your help and support and thanks to Steve and Ruth from Creative Chuppahs for the recommendation!
Birthday bouquet for Madeleine, an amazing lady whose 100th birthday party I had the pleasure to decorate two years ago! I hope she enjoyed this selection of brights, with beautiful Adele roses, clematis, alstroemerias and mini gerbera with pink hypericum berries and fern.

Behind the scenes….. most weddings are at least three days in the preparation, sometimes more, plus researching, planning (I love a spreadsheet) and logistics. These are some of the things you don’t see, but it all goes towards making one day extra special. So here’s a few from our last wedding as we prepare for this week’s!

After two and a half years’ wait, Anna and Shane’s wedding finally took place and what a happy day and a stunning bride, managed to sneak a shot with her Dad before the ceremony which doesn’t often happen! Huge thanks to my lovely assistants, and , I couldn’t have done it without you. Maybe the last wedding of 2022, but who knows?
Well what a fabulous afternoon with these lovely ladies, for Connie’s hen party. Everyone made a fantastic hand tie and we had so much fun, thank you for organising!

There is something quite special about pure white flowers. I had some of the best of the summer for these celebration arrangements, loved the country look. Simple beauty.
One of the rare and lovely occasions I got to see the bride and groom get married. Such a lovely day for Emily and Tom, really enjoyed making all their flowers, I think we nailed to country look for this beautiful setting Gate Street Barn in Surrey. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Luker and thanks as ever to the lovely .orchid.london for being my right hand woman.

Well there's the lovely Liz from , Jill from with her gorgeous embroidery kits and designs, there's Marcia from for all things yarn,Jackie with her beautiful cushions and bags, (Saturday), resin and acrylic gifts, jewellery by Emma from (Sunday), to make your Christmas table looks special and last but certainly not least, Barbara's beautiful selection of homewares. Come and enjoy breakfast, lunch or just a cuppa and cake , followed by a browse of our fantastic local makers' wares, you're bound to find a perfect gift!
Coming up very soon!! we will be at a special pop up Craft and Gift fair at Ferny Hill Farm, along with other local craftspeople, bringing some festive decoration and gifts for you to browse. The dates for the pop up are - 27 and 28 November, 4 and 5 December, 11 and 12 December and 18 and 19 December, 10 am to 4pm. The Ferny Hill Farm Tea Room will be open so come and see us and treat yourself to some delicious food when you visit!
Two days ago, and I set to work to honour a dear friend. Louise had known her for many years, I had known her for only a few, but we had many happy times and lots of fun. It was our privilege to make this tribute to the lovely Anne, who left us too soon but who will remain in our hearts. It contains roses representing happy times at her daughter Sally’s wedding, the blue thistle for her Scottish roots, and rosemary for remembrance. God bless Anne xx
Catherine chose peach and pink with a hint of lilac and some thistle to remind her of her engagement in Scotland. Flowers have so much meaning for people, I hope their wedding day was enhanced by these lovely blooms. Thanks to for all your help x
What a day, congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Williams, we had so much fun making the floral arrangements for this fabulous occasion.
