Set description:
Set 1: Huge curtains opening up to an angelic and cloudy heaven on earth. We have clouds, white columns to stand of sit on, and curtains. (See example photos below!)
Set 2: A darker set made up of dark red backdrops, and SAND... Yes, Sand.
We will have three angels with three different vibes! Sommer Eli Being our dark angel, Genesis Sublette being Gold, and Melissa Hartzog White. Each model will have HUGE angel wings fitting their theme! Wardrobes are head to feet Nylon body suits with feathers attached to give the impression feathers are floating over the skin.
Photographers, there are many benefits to joining the Shootshow team this month.
-Use of our top notch gear and lighting! (Canon and Sony Triggers/If you have a different brand please bring a trigger.) Natural light is also available with our big windows or continuous lights!

We have many plans for the new upcoming year! With our brand new studio opening up on January 1st, we wanted to do something big. Memorable not only for us but for photographers, makeup artists, hair artists, and models. We have a professional space now, but many new upgrades to how we capture the event: new lighting tech, better videos, and more organized shooting plans. Every year we get better.

Our team dreams up the concepts and themes, casts the models, styles wardrobe and handles hair & make up. We coordinate location/venue and build and create intricate sets. We handle all of the important details leading up to and day of, so you never have to. We also provide refreshments. Our events feature between one to three models, and three to seven photographers. Everyone has plenty of opportunity to shoot the maximum out of each event and we encourage an environment of creativity and artistic vision.
The Shootshow Events
Who are we? What do we do?
For years we have been evolving and growing, but now we taking the next big step. We are also opening our first studio January 1st, 2023!
Our team builds and creates elaborate photoshoots at a fraction of the costs per person buy in. For example, if you wanted to shoot a model in a set, built of fire, ash and rock, with your model dressed as an angle rising from its flames? We got you!
For one photographer or model to design and execute their own elaborate shoot, it can be quite the endeavor.
Break down of the costs: (Please keep in mind, this is an example of what goes into a typical creative event)
First off you have to ask yourself; do I have the right space available for this? A set like this may take some space and you'll need time to build it, order supplies or set it up. Sometimes, depending on complexity, renting a studio for a few hours isn't going to cut it. But for this example let just assume you do you have a space.
We will start with the set materials. There are many ways to build this type of set but let’s just pick the easiest.
· paper machete (thick rolls of paper) $35
· chicken wire $30
· backdrop (size matters on cost. cheap ones are not a good choice) $200
· hard floorboards (2) $40,
· ash material (40LBS $33 (3 bags) $99
· paint (1 gallon of grey/ few small cans for details and different colors) $45
· paint materials $20, gallon of glue $12
· fog machine $40, fog juice $20 and possible fire pit (if you're feeling extra.)
This is about $541 as an estimate of material costs. You also run into other set costs as well like zip ties, string, wire cutters, tape, hot glue etc.. Plus lighting, backdrop stands, clamps, extension cords, etc..
Wardrobe/props
Angel wings: Depending on how big and dramatic you'd like to go. That's how we do! Renting a pair is about $200 but to purchase or make is more. So, let’s go with renting.
Wardrobe, average white angel costume of quality but not too pricy is about $70, and a gold halo $15. Hair and makeup may include materials or you may have a MUA attend, $250. You may also include nails, or shoes if you prefer. Total is roughly $535.
We also make sure there is lunch/snacks/beverages $50
Total estimate: $1,126.00
The Shootshow Event team tries to go big with its events, usually around $1,500/$2,000 depending on the theme/intricacy of the event and any leftover funds usually go towards the next event.
Spending all that alone would be a huge investment for just one photoshoot and you're left with all of the things you bought/made that you may never use again. When we split costs up between the casted team, it saves your wallet and gives us the entire event to come together and create! You show up and shoot! Models get to model; we all get to create something amazing!

Photographers, Models:
The SHOOTSHOW is a monthly event that includes highly skilled photographers (4-5) and one or two models. This event hopes to push attendees beyond their comfort zone so that they may achieve unique, high quality photos while in a safe and creative environment. Each month there will be a theme, location, a high-quality model, and the chosen photographers.
What this Event Provides: Unique images, Planned Locations, Organized Theme, Professional Hair and Makeup, a Model, 4 Photographers, and Snacks!
Photographers: Test your skills and break out of your comfort zone. During this event you might end up trying new things. Things you wouldn’t even know you’d ever be into. During the event we sometimes (Depending on the theme) will make a series of cards that will be randomly drawn by each photographer. These cards will give the photographer a random idea to try and shoot with his/her model.
Models: Each photographer will be handpicked according to the quality of his or her portfolio, and the diversity in their styles. This ensures that the model will have a diverse set of high quality images from all photographers by the end of the event.
