2024 weddings are wrapped for me- and what a dreamy dream year you have all given me. Thank you so much for letting me spend precious time with you, and letting me know you. I am so, so honoured.

I always love to make a little wrap video of the year if I get time. And this year I was thinking a video of all the embraces, so if you have a photo from your 2024 wedding of a cuddle, kiss, handshake - whether professional or taken on a phone I would love to share it. Pretty well all of the colours of the 🌈 for a wild November of weddings.

celebrated our third wedding on the weekend.

The first was when she was a bridesmaid for Connie & Tom, then when her cousin Nick married my mate Bec and then when her buddies Elaine & Kyle got hitched on Friday.

I absolutely looooove getting to see gorgeous people multiple times. It makes me so happy!

Who else has been at three of my weddings? Hehehe

The most intimate, family ceremony that I was honoured to officiate for the beautiful Ella and Jake.

With Dee of there to capture this incredibly special day, Ella’s sister, Jake’s best mate and the couples two gorgeous sons our party was complete at .

Words couldn’t possibly do this magic justice (lucky Dee is a wizard, right!).

I had tears running down my face, I smiled so much my cheeks hurts and I got to have lots of cuddles. So for me it was absolutely perfect in every way. And I feel pretty certain I wasn’t the only one that felt that.

I could happily do this every Thursday for the rest of my days hehe.

So I injured my neck this week (what a silly billy) so major thanks go to my angel husband for driving me to J&C’s wedding yesterday and carrying around and setting up all my equipment for me 😛.

Sally and Lewis. Far out these two are gorgeous. Look at them!

Originally brought together by shared loves of “feminism, footy, pubs and politics” these two are every bit as fabulous as all of that suggests.

Fun and funny, warm and generous, kind and considerate and incredible to be around.

The packed Hall at Welcome to Brunswick, full of joy and love and support was testament to that.

You could feel it in the air.

Places I have run into Emma & Jimmy since our first meeting: the phone rooms, the Ball and two events - on all of these occasions Emma and Jimmy were giving their absolute everything to volunteer their time for causes close to their hearts.

Where you will find Emma and Jimmy the literal day after their honeymoon ends: running a camp for .

Safe to say I was completely and utterly honoured to be be part of these two ACTUAL ANGELS getting married, I loved getting to meet their fabulous friends and family, sharing in the joy of their reception, and even fitting in a little dance with them too.

I feel extra especially lucky that they are probably stuck with me for years now too- as I know we will continue to bump into each other over and over.

You may have heard me mention it or noticed an extra tab on my website lately but it’s finally ready to go! The Wedding Bestie is here!

I take it as an incredible honour to get to help you on the one of the funnest, most exciting, most special days of your life and one thing it’s been impossible not to notice is just how much work that day takes.

And so I offer you a Wedding Bestie. Someone to help you with all the jobs you shouldn’t have to do yourself, and might not want to have to ask friends and family to do for you. Someone to lighten your load and support you through it. An all rounder, professional, kind, fun.

So with that in mind - this is my incredible friend Emma (). She has a tonne of experience in events and projects, is full of creativity and ideas and is incredibly supportive and fun.

I know that she will look after you and provide you with something simple but important - a helping hand!

Pinch me? Today was the best, what a way to spend a Thursday! And honestly I’ve never felt so fun before so here is my celebrant outfit of the day hehehe 🤎

Vanessa and Michael are the biggest hearted humans with the most genuine smiles. (You can tell even from just looking at them right? But I can absolutely confirm it!). They are also friend family. As in, the family of two of my lovely friends - so I absolutely knew they would be nothing short of fabulous.

This was a beautiful day, surrounded by lovely people, but, one thing that really stuck out to me was how special it was to have M&V’s VIP guests, their grandparents there with them. I think it might be the most grandparents I’ve ever seen at a ceremony and it filled my heart with so much joy. Grandparents holding hands, laughing together in family photos, over the moon to see their grandchildren and support them on their special day. What an exceptional gift and an honour to witness!

This is my friend Darcy. She is an incredibly kind and caring person who has helped me through many hard times. She’s also a childcare professional and helped me manage the huge transition of 1 to 2 kids (and that global pandemic). She’s fricken amazing and on this wonderful day I got the huge honour of marrying her to her lovely beau Michael.

They were married at Sebastian Restaurant on Williamstown Beach in front of Darcy’s family, with a friend taking beautiful photos for them and me cramming in 1000 Polaroids because honestly how gorgeous is my girl!!!

The vows were beautiful and heartfelt and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.

What a special day, and as always, a very, very lucky me. 🩷
