I feel like I have so much in common with Anne-Maree and Dino that having the first catch up with them felt like being set up on a friend-date. Like yeah sure I would love to marry you but what have you got on this Saturday?

Then I almost immediately ran into them at an AFLW game which really cemented that feeling for me.

The wedding day, of course, was absolutely wonderful in every way and even gave me my first opportunity to speak Italian in a ceremony which I have been hoping for for years!

A magical, magical day.

Kate and Dan made this so special. And not just because they got all their friends and family out to a lovely winery on a beauuutiful sunny day.

But because they shared so much with me. They were so vulnerable and open and joyful and they really let me in. It was so easy to tell their story when they handed it down to me so lovingly.

It was like spending a day with old friends, after many many hours together chatting and learning about their adventures together.

And then they took off on an amazing multiple month honeymoon and I thoroughly enjoyed soaking up all the stories and am already loving getting to see the next steps on their journey together.

Elaine and Kyle had the coolest wedding at Inglewood Estate.

And the vibes were incredibly chill. Like soooo chill and fun which makes so much sense because these two are really funny. Like, make you laugh out loud funny.

I got to work with some of my all time faves and the gorgeous was my kind and wonderful helper for the day and the awesome staff even gave us lifts up and down the paddock on the golf buggies and as I am a child in my 30s I thought that was very excellent.

Kyle and Elaine, thank you for bringing so much fun and joy and letting me be part of all of the goodness. I can’t wait to see you at the footy soon!

Wedchella because it’s the wedding industry or because it was on a Wednesday?

2. For someone who does public speaking for a job I’m pretty shy in a crowd when I don’t have a job to do (lucky there were so many kind souls to look out for me. Mardy always takes care of me!)
3. I love to sew and craft. I made, altered or crafted everything I wore here!

Look at my gorgeous friends Mardy & Liam! Eiiip!

Mardy and I met through weddings. We just suddenly had a heap of weddings together and she was just too easy to adore right away! And then she introduced me to her partner Liam who is a perfect angel and the ideal board game partner for my board game loving partner and now they are stuck with us forever.

Mardy and Liam are such incredibly kind, generous, thoughtful people and it was an incredible honour to be with them in this special moment.

(And Ben was their XL Wedding Bestie for the day too. We left feeling so happy and helpy it was truely wonderful).

The ceremony was super honest and fresh and fun - just like them!

I just adore the Harwood family. My friend Mardi is the middle child, and her sisters Liza and Romy and all three of their partners at just perfection honestly. I’ve never wanted to be related to anyone more in my life.

So when Romy asked in if I (with help from Liza who herself will become an amazing celebrant very soon) could get her married to super fun guy, Kyle, I was over the moon.

I got to meet the parents, the in-laws, the cousins, the friends etc, I got to stay in the family home before the wedding day, the family beauty queen even did my make up for the ceremony! 🥰🥰

It was so beautiful to see this remarkable day from so many angles. I can’t really express just how kind these gorgeous humans were to me!

And the connection that we all came together to celebrate is a very special one. I mean, who doesn’t love a friends to lovers storyline?!

Jenny and Campbell are close friends with the wonderful and when she couldn’t head back home to join them in marriage I was charged with the task. Wow. What an honour.

Jenny and Campbell are just lovely humans but also really really funny, which I guess makes sense when you are besties with such a talented comedian!

I loved the fun stories they shared with me that enabled us to write a really joyful and fresh ceremony that absolutely could not have been anyone else’s!

The vows. I can’t describe how good they were. Hang them in the Louvre.

I know there will be many many years of adventures and cold hands to come for these two.

Thank you so much for letting me be there, you absolute legends.

RUBY & ANDY PART 2.

My big sis and her lovely Andy didn’t want one big day, they wanted two slightly smaller ones - each with a distinct vibe. So this was the second one, the party one. There were speeches, games, Emma the wedding bestie helping out, portraits, a swing class, a smashing dance floor led by , tattoos, adult (and kid) party bags and much much more. It fricken rocked!

I love marrying friendship groups, I love marrying my couple’s siblings, cousins, family friends. I love marrying my friend’s friends, my sister’s friends (and then obviously stealing them for myself). Anything where I get to see you again makes me so so happy!

This one was a surprise too! Adrian & Kara and Rachel & Declan booked the same celebrant for dates less than a month apart and they didn’t even realise until we all saw each other at Kara & Adrian’s wedding in December! I absolutely looovveee this! 🥹🥹🥹

Can’t wait to show you pictures of Rach & Dec’s wedding too! 😍😍😍

2024 weddings are wrapped for me- and what a dreamy dream year you have all given me. Thank you so much for letting me spend precious time with you, and letting me know you. I am so, so honoured.

I always love to make a little wrap video of the year if I get time. And this year I was thinking a video of all the embraces, so if you have a photo from your 2024 wedding of a cuddle, kiss, handshake - whether professional or taken on a phone I would love to share it. (Portrait orientation works best!)

Pretty well all of the colours of the 🌈 for a wild November of weddings.

celebrated our third wedding on the weekend.

The first was when she was a bridesmaid for Connie & Tom, then when her cousin Nick married my mate Bec and then when her buddies Elaine & Kyle got hitched on Friday.

I absolutely looooove getting to see gorgeous people multiple times. It makes me so happy!

Who else has been at three of my weddings? Hehehe

The most intimate, family ceremony that I was honoured to officiate for the beautiful Ella and Jake.

With Dee of there to capture this incredibly special day, Ella’s sister, Jake’s best mate and the couples two gorgeous sons our party was complete at .

Words couldn’t possibly do this magic justice (lucky Dee is a wizard, right!).

I had tears running down my face, I smiled so much my cheeks hurts and I got to have lots of cuddles. So for me it was absolutely perfect in every way. And I feel pretty certain I wasn’t the only one that felt that.

I could happily do this every Thursday for the rest of my days hehe.
