✨🦋INTRODUCING WEDDING BESTIE 🦋✨

You may have heard me mention it or noticed an extra tab on my website lately but it’s finally ready to go! The Wedding Bestie is here!

I take it as an incredible honour to get to help you on the one of the funnest, most exciting, most special days of your life and one thing it’s been impossible not to notice is just how much work that day takes.

And so I offer you a Wedding Bestie. Someone to help you with all the jobs you shouldn’t have to do yourself, and might not want to have to ask friends and family to do for you. Someone to lighten your load and support you through it. An all rounder, professional, kind, fun.

So with that in mind - this is my incredible friend Emma (). She has a tonne of experience in events and projects, is full of creativity and ideas and is incredibly supportive and fun.

I know that she will look after you and provide you with something simple but important - a helping hand!

Pinch me? Today was the best, what a way to spend a Thursday! And honestly I’ve never felt so fun before so here is my celebrant outfit of the day hehehe 🤎

Images: some pictures of me in a gold fringe jacket and light mint dress. My hair is extra curly from heatless overnight curls and I’m very much enjoying the sleeve fringing. The last photo shows me in .ll.a___ ‘s jacket and holding her bouquet while photographed her and her husband! I just felt so adorable holding both for her I had to take a pic.

Vanessa and Michael are the biggest hearted humans with the most genuine smiles. (You can tell even from just looking at them right? But I can absolutely confirm it!). They are also friend family. As in, the family of two of my lovely friends - so I absolutely knew they would be nothing short of fabulous.

This was a beautiful day, surrounded by lovely people, but, one thing that really stuck out to me was how special it was to have M&V’s VIP guests, their grandparents there with them. I think it might be the most grandparents I’ve ever seen at a ceremony and it filled my heart with so much joy. Grandparents holding hands, laughing together in family photos, over the moon to see their grandchildren and support them on their special day. What an exceptional gift and an honour to witness!

This is my friend Darcy. She is an incredibly kind and caring person who has helped me through many hard times. She’s also a childcare professional and helped me manage the huge transition of 1 to 2 kids (and that global pandemic). She’s fricken amazing and on this wonderful day I got the huge honour of marrying her to her lovely beau Michael.

They were married at Sebastian Restaurant on Williamstown Beach in front of Darcy’s family, with a friend taking beautiful photos for them and me cramming in 1000 Polaroids because honestly how gorgeous is my girl!!!

The vows were beautiful and heartfelt and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place.

What a special day, and as always, a very, very lucky me. 🩷

Katy and Ollie, you can’t not adore these two. So open, interesting, fun. The first meeting felt like a dream, like how can this be work?!

And the wedding, was amazing. The dress, the puff sleeves (!!!!), the vintage suits, the brides mates and groomsmen… the energy… the energy was out of this world.

Everyone laughing and crying and loving together. So much joy and excitement - I just know the reception was an absolute ball!

Getting to work with dream human/expert photographer is always a delight, and getting to meet the super fun Ruby of was totally epic!

Lucky little me!

Katy and Ollie look truely unique and stunning, regal but playful and their true personalities are really displayed in these photos which show them outside on the property, up in the glorious attic and getting married in front of beautiful windows. There is also one at the end of me in a gold dress enjoying the view of these angels. Katy, Ollie and absolutely incredible stuff!!!

Can I tell you something sad about this day? … there is only one thing because it was honestly to die for. The sad thing is that Chloe and Justin didn’t organise my wedding for me because oh my goodness I AM OBSESSED WITH LITERALLY EVERYTHING!

The colours, the flowers, the music, the vibessss- the vibes were out of this world.

I just adored being part of this day with these angels and their mates. I’ll miss marrying this friendship group too- as I was lucky enough to marry bridesmaid Gen and witness Connor late last year too- so if you are buddies with these gorgeous people and you want to get married pretty please email me 😂.

Congratulations Chloe & Justin, you stunners!! Obsessed with you!

My dream goal was to be A&L’s little wedding fairy friend. And I think we achieved it. They made me guffaw and giggle on this marvellously joyous day. 🧚💚

Isn’t Lex just pure sunshine in this gorgeous yellow gown? I am absolutely in love with how beautiful and joyful she looks!

And Lach even did up a matching Kombi all by himself for the wedding!! (I’ll attempt to share a pic of it soon too because it is so cute!!!)

This day was just perfection. A beautiful, intimate ceremony on stunning land, gorgeous people and possibly the best wedding weather luck imaginable.

Not only was the day a splendid one, but it came after a week of rain which filled the river here which had the week before been dry rocks. Incredible!

It was obvious that these photos would be stunning. Such a talented photographer of course, and Lex and Lach were so relaxed with each other, yet so excited, so happy to be by each other’s side.

What a brilliant day! ☀️

🍓🍰Strawberry Shortcake🍰🍓 and pals for the Community Over Competition party yesterday! What a fun way to catch up with industry pals and make new friends 🩷❣️

My dad and very lovingly looked after my girls so I could be there.

And my gorgeous friend Mardy (dressed as Yayoi Kusama) looked after me all day. We had a lovely dinner out together after the party and got home at a very reasonable hour 🥰🥰

It was an honour to spend Easter Saturday with Ben & Meg.

Watching their families in the front row, smiling, crying, looking so full of love and pride… well frankly it got me teary too.

These too are so incredibly sweet, they even felt bad asking their guests to carry a few chairs over for the reception (easy as pie!!) and this might seem like a funny moment to talk about from the day, but, watching their friends and family take a group photo and then absolutely everyone head back to the aisle to pitch in together was really beautiful. It felt relaxed, authentic and like every person there was really part of the community - which fits perfectly for Meg and Ben because my goodness they are full of light and kindness.

Also it simply must be mentioned that not only did Ben make the arbour for the ceremony - he also made the wedding cake and I am absolutely obsessed with that combination of skills- how impressive.

Meg’s friend (Meg haha) did the florals!! And Meg herself pulled off organising the lion’s share of this in just a few months!

Happy Mothers’ Day to all the mothers, careers, parents and all of the friends and family who help us do it.

Today can be bring up very different feelings for many people but I couldn’t let today go without saying what an incredible joy it is to not just to get to know all of you but to meet the wonderful people who love you.

I love these photos that Amber () took of myself and Annette (Meg’s beautiful mum). Both Meg & Ben’s families were utterly LOVELY and made this special day even nicer!

OH MY DAYS!

Look at these wedded superstars!

On this day (give or take a few because births,deaths and marriages couldn’t quite make the schedule) Smith and Stevenson became the Smithsons with all the style, laughter, tears and party anyone could dream of!

Honestly this was so bloody fun and Izi and Stu are complete legends! Izi is this organised and empathetic queen and Stu is an adorable, wholesome guy with the jolliest giggle.

I loved this. I honestly felt a bit guilty (but also very very touched) for all the lovely ceremony compliments I was lucky to receive because this day just wrote itself!

It’s hard to know what to say about Sophie and James. Should I tell you that they had the CUTEST flower kids imaginable who came down the aisle all by themselves as the ceremony began, or that the couple’s gorgeous friends’ Mike and Christine each gave musical tributes to the happy day?

Should I mention the huge and delicious entirely vegan grazing board or the adorable hall that the pair and their families decorated so beautifully - complete with board games and a comfy cozy cushion corner?

There was so much to love and adore but nothing could be more wonderful than these two incredible people. Who were so loving, open and vulnerable with me which I truly believe made it possible to write one of the most honest and heartfelt ceremonies I’ve had the privilege to be part of.

An absolute dream from the very first email.

Congratulations angels, and thank you. I adore you.

Hello! It’s me!

Just jumping on to let you know that I’m having a little baby tonsillectomy tomorrow (wish me luck).

Apparently I will be in paaaaiiin, and maybe not talking for a while (how will I survive?!) so I think that means I’m pretty much forced to take a little break from working.

So that means I can’t really do meetings for the next couple of weeks. I’ll be back on the email in a few days though in case you need me for anything urgently!

This was a day for sweethearts. Cat and Rohan have the most positive, friendly, joyful vibe and are as lovely as can possibly be.

When I said to Cat that they had made the whole process just delightful and a breeze she said “you know, quite a few people have said that” and Cat, to be totally honest, it’s because it is so so true!

I adore this venue too! - it felt really relaxed and casual but in this great ‘I could be in Tuscany’ sort of way.

Add in stunning song bird .by.charley and photography angel and the most incredible weather (26 and sunny right before all those 38 degree days in a row days) and this day was as sweet as gelato. Which everyone knows is the perfect amount of sweetness!

There is something about Ange’s hand so gracefully arched in the air here that I just find so romantic.

My sister suggested that it’s the hand version of a “foot pop” and I think she is right.

Kiki and Ange officially helped me to wedding number 100 on this stunning day at the gorgeous hill to ring in the Lunar New Year.

The brides were absolutely stunning, the venue was picturesque, the guests were fabulous and the team was a dream.

was on the tunes, nailed those florals, and her super second shooter Ali took the most stunning photos!

I loved being involved in this day. It was a true joy. It can’t be understated just how gorgeous and kind and welcoming and are.

Oh and their nieces on the bubble guns were so adorable!

What a day!!

Looks like my bestest half will be away for the week, and with school holidays I am going to have my hands full… and ears and brain and …. I don’t know…everything 😳😝

I have plenty of weddings coming up - so I am very much well and truly here for you but just a little note to say I may not be as quick on the emails as usual.

The loveliest day in the wind by the beach with the radiant Yaz and Lachie.

I so enjoyed being part of this day - which was one of a few beautiful days of celebration of this love story.

Yaz and Lachie were so relaxed and kind and sweet and the day even gave me the opportunity to see Alicia and Tom again, who I married a few years past. Marrying friends is such an incredible honour. To see you again, and hear what you’ve been up to makes my heart so happy.

I adored the team at All Smiles Sorrento too - so gorgeous and fun! Absolutely do recommend!! And how about these photos by the beautiful ! Ooft!

I know I yap on about how lucky I am a lot. But look at this!! My friends Amber & Michael were married at Waterton Hall Wines ( - how stunning!) on this gorgeous Saturday afternoon.

The bride and groom were heavenly, the wedding party were angels, the speeches were the perfect mix of heartfelt and cheeky and the dance floor absolutely went off!!

I loved watching Amber in her element singing her favourite songs and ruling the floor and Michael getting his mum up on his shoulders to celebrate!

I adore getting to officiate ceremonies in lutruwita, it always feels like a second home to me and I got to catch up with my gorg little cousin Zoe and amazing friends Kelsey & Jess while I was there. Such a brilliant weekend for a lucky lucky me and an incredible wedding for my friends!

My wonderful, beautiful, talented sister got married. And even though Andy has been my brother for a long time now emotionally - it’s pretty cool that I get to welcome a wonderful, beautiful, talented big brother to the family officially now too.

These two people have supported me, and us, through everything. Really everything. The honour of marrying them is absolutely a life highlight for me.
