After a deep dive into the world of Amaryllis bulbs, a few have wowed me. These are them... The most unique is Butterfly, the best multi petal Apple Blossom, unusual is Exotic Star, wow factor is Glee and the largest bloom and simply stunning is Flamingo. Apple Blossoms and Glee you can find at the big box stores before Thanksgiving. Butterfly, Exotic Star and Flamingo are ordered from Bulb and Seed companies.

The first rosemary bloom means bumbles will be around soon, within a week or two. They are so much fun to listen to, watch and pet. The green shoots are the daffodils well on their way and will be available most likely by the end of the month. Yellow field daffodils first and then all the fancy daffodils a few weeks later. I'll be having a special flower subscription on these and tulips and will have details soon. In the meantime, start enjoying the outdoors a bit more if you can! These cool days and chilly nights don't last very long.

Okay y'all, I am so happy to share that some of my items are now being carried at Blooms by Kim. A few of the gourds I've been growing and you've seen on here, I've been turning into pots for amazing flower bulbs, starting with Amaryllis plants.Several are starting to bloom in the store already. Cool weather crafts have begun and the Pineapple Sage that always announces fall is blooming like crazy. The gourds are curing and the garden beds are starting to be put to sleep. Here's a few of the projects and the sage in all her pineapple smelling glory. Have a wonderful day!

So I've done a thing. I'm designing part time for a florist a few towns over. Lovely lady. Just wanted to share some of the arrangements I've done for her at her place... Totally different style, much more formal arrangements, but neat to do them.

As promised... Gourds! I've most of them off the vines and drying. Lost a few with the hurricane and a few to critters. But I think this was a great harvest! Can't wait to start creating with them.

I've just added a new favorite flower of the season - Shrimp! So tropical looking. Now to collect the 3 other varieties that I know about - a white, a yellow and a lime green. I'm sure there are more too. It is placed together with my other two favorites, Pineapple Sage because it smells like pineapple and blooms around the first day of fall, and Confederate Roses that are just so big and luscious and pink!
