THANK YOU so much to those who participated in yesterday's Bishopville Community Easter Egg Hunt! We "hid" more than 3,000 eggs, gave away 160 goodie bags, raised $93 for future Bishopville Community events & $95 for the Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department -- and saw so many smiling faces. We hope that you had a great time. We are looking forward to next year's egg hunt (and hoping that we can host it outside without rain)!

We are so thankful for the Bishopville Fire Department for letting us use their fire hall, for all of those who graciously donated candy, prizes and made monetary donations, for Wilson Community Church members for providing water and candy, for Sofia Kahl for taking wonderful photos, the Easter Bunny, and for Roxy, Rosi & Nathan for volunteering their time to help us yesterday!

The Bishopville Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held INSIDE the Bishopville Volunteer Fire Hall today because of the rain! First hunt starts at 11 am! There is plenty of parking behind the fire hall. Bring your own basket! See you there!

Beachy beauty in loving memory of Aunt Janice. ❤️🐚 Thinking of Katie & Jayne and Janice’s family today as they celebrate their loved one’s life with family and friends. Janice always had the most beautiful geranium hanging baskets at her home each and every Summer. One request from her family when selecting the memorial service flowers was to incorporated geraniums. It is still quite early in the season for geranium plants, but I found a whole greenhouse full of them at last week. I unpotted the plants, put their roots and some soil in little baggies, and incorporated them into this flower arrangement so that Katie & her mom could replant them after the services and have a keepsake to plant at their homes this Spring… and, of course, the plants started showing red blooms today! I chose to incorporate red ge**er daisies, too, because Katie had them in her wedding flowers that LML had to honor of designing over 10 years ago. I’m such an advocate for incorporating meaningful items into memorial flowers. Remembering Janice fondly today and always!

Wear your rain boots, bring your basket, and join us inside the Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department for an indoor egg hunt! The first hunt starts at 11 am... get there early!
