2024 brings a new adventure for A Bloom Studio… we’re moving to Washington!
At the beginning of December we moved from Ashland to Talent & then just before Christmas my husband was offered an incredible job offer in Central Washington. We knew it was an opportunity we couldn’t turn down.
While we are so excited for this new adventure, we are also so sad to leave Southern Oregon, the place we have called home for the last 3.5 years.
To my couples who’ve turned friends - thank you for supporting my business & trusting me to play a part on your special day. Because of you I am able to do what I love.
To my vendor friends - thank you for accepting & welcoming me into this community with open arms. Moving to Oregon in 2020 after graduating college & then 2 months later almost losing our home to the Almeda fire was not an easy start for my business, but because of an incredible community this little business of mine has grown more than I could have imagined.
I will miss the beautiful people & the beautiful valley here dearly. I am also excited to grow into a new place & find another incredible community Good things lie ahead. 🤍

One of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received was when I was designing an arch install & someone came up to me & said “ wow, it’s like I’m watching an artist paint.”
That sentence gave me a boost of confidence that I really needed in that moment. I had never thought of my work as art.
I think of those words often, especially when I feel judgmental about my designs.
I don’t often see other artists talk about the comparison, lack of confidence they feel as they create. As an artist you see all the mistakes you’ve made, what you could have done better. You hope the client will love what you’ve created, you hope it’s everything & more they’ve envisioned, imperfections & all. When I look at another artists piece of art I don’t notice all of the things wrong with it, I notice all the things I love about it. Why don’t I do that to my own art?
Art has no boundaries, no rules.
So a note to myself & any other artists: stop comparing yourself. Stop judging your work.
Your work is a piece of art.

I officially booked my first my
wedding for next year & I am just feeling so grateful.
When I moved & restarted my business here in Oregon a year ago, I was really really scared of failure. I looked at so many other talented florists here in Southern Oregon & wasn’t sure if there would be room for me as another florist. Progress doesn’t look the same for everyone & at times my progress has been slow, but it’s still progress.
I just want to say thank you!!
Thank you to my incredible brides for trusting me on your big day, thank you to my photographer, videographer & other vendor friends who have been so kind to me & have included me in so many fun endeavors.
