When to plan a fall session in Northern Wisconsin? Usually peak is the last weekend or September or first weekend of October. The colors last for a week or so after that, and then weather depending they may drop. We do get a second round of “fall” though when the tamarack pine trees turn yellow, so depending on your area I personally think mid-October is my favorite time!

Madi and David’s Northwoods camp wedding lives rent free in my mind. From the bridal party staying in the bunk house, to everyone jumping off the dock at sunset it was the perfect way to celebrate “just married”.

Part 2 of Mal and Nic ✨ When they ended up adjusting their wedding plans they emailed me and asked if we could still do photos in their wedding attire. They were really excited about portraits with Northwoods in the background since it’s such a special area to them. So after their lifestyle photos we headed to The Pointe for them to get changed and we caught the sunset dockside as they cut a cake and sipped on Champagne. I love working with people numerous times, it feels like you’re about to meet up with your friends again. Give me allllll of the evenings like this please 🫶🏻👏🏻

How lucky am I to witness such incredible couples and their closest family and friends all coming together to celebrate them. It was easy to see how kind and compassionate Cassie is, and how Mike looked at her like there was no one else in the world.

Part 1 | Rebecca and Steven intentionally planned their elopement around the Blue Super Moon in August. They planned to take a vintage Chris Craft boat from their home to their slip of land with a wooden A-Frame they built and named “Moonrise” as it has the perfect view of the moon rising across the lake. But first they got ready at their home, popped champagne by their vintage Rolls Royce and set off across the water to an incredible elopement site set up for them at “Moonrise”.
