The Airlie Beach Regatta was a sight to behold today, with crystal-clear waters and a cloudless sky. But unfortunately, the wind gods were not in a cooperating mood, and the larger boats were forced to cancel their races. But that didn't stop the smaller boats from having a blast! The F18s and Wetas took to the water in light winds, and they put on a great show for the spectators. It was a day of sunshine and sailing, just not for the big boats. But the smaller boats made the most of it, and they put on a great show for everyone. So if you're looking for a fun and colorful way to spend a day in Airlie Beach, be sure to check out the next yacht regatta. You never know, you might just get lucky and catch a day with some wind!

Day 1 of Airlie Beach Race Week at Whitsunday Sailing Club yesterday was fun. Today was the official opening of the race. I got to film 200 yachts coming my way with the drone. you wait til you see the shots from that. they are unbelievable. So happy to be running Colours and Clouds Media as my one and only job at the moment. So honored to be the official videographer working on Race week too. Airlie Beach is paradise. Love my town and my home. we live a pretty fruitful life in our little bubble.
