Hello, I'm Heather!

I’m an entrepreneur, an avid traveler, customer service veteran, and dedicated Destination Wedding Planner and Romance Travel Agent based in Charlotte NC. I hope you will find some useful tips for planning your travels or destination wedding and will find that I can be of service to you.

Are you struggling to plan your romantic getaway, honeymoon or destination wedding? Are you overwhelmed by all the options out there? If you are planning a destination wedding, are you finding it hard to fathom how on earth you are going to make this all happen and bring it all together? How does one book a destination wedding anyway, and where will all your guests stay and how are you going to keep everything and EVERYONE organized? Well, this is where I come in...

But do you really understand Heather? You may be asking yourself this question, well let me tell you, I myself was a destination bride. Back in 2013 I planned my own wedding in England and guess what? I learned quite a few things during that process.

As the person wearing all the hats, the Bride, the Wedding Planner, and the Travel Agent, I lost a lot of sleep and had a lot of anxiety planning it all. Did it turn out well? Fortunately, it did, it was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I really could have done without the stress and overwhelm beforehand.

I began my career flying the friendly (sometimes not so friendly) skies and that kept me up in the air for over 11 years. As much as I loved my job, my entrepreneurial spirit always had me thinking I could do so much more.

So after a decade of flying, I decided to put my feet firmly back on the ground and finally create a business of my own in 2014. I started a wedding rental company which grew into Wedding Planning & Design and with my years of experience in the travel industry, my focus turned to Destination Weddings & Romance Travel.

So with all that being said, let’s get back to you, shall we? Your wedding is one of the most precious occasions in your life. It should be a day that reflects your journey, passions, and personality, so needless to say it needs to be perfectly organized. Let’s leave all the stress and overwhelm behind and leave all that to me!
