I finally finished cleaning out and, reorganizing my library. Yikes, what a task!!! I've sort of made that a priority over shooting new stuff.
Anyway, in doing so I've rediscovered some images that have been lost in the shuffle of switching website providers and some other stuff.
This is the first one and, it gets better. Including some milky way stuff. Stay tuned.

Ooooh, the wheel in the sky keeps on turning.
Pardon the cheesy Journey reference.
It was a beautiful night under the stars in, Badlands National Park.
I hoped for a second night as I had at least a half dozen epiphanies, while I was standing out there, but the clouds had other ideas.
This was my first time doing this. In the future I hope to setup one rig for star trails and get the milky way with the other.

This is so adorable!!!
In recreating the bird gallery on the website, I stumbled across this gem from eleven years ago up at Caribou Lake.
Plus, I'm also adding 4x6 prints back onto the products menu. Give me a few days.
If you ever want some other, "Wonky Size" feel free to ask.
I'm willing to bet I can find it. As long as you understand that sometimes it may alter the composition, I'll allow you to purchase it.

I had a tough time finding open water while searching deep in the Superior National Forest over the weekend. I had to get into the lake to get this image. Despite having yet another hole in my waders, I was successful, and this is gorgeous.

Kris and I were up north for a couple of days.
The only pond/lake that would cooperate on our scenic drive.
I'll be back up north in nine days for the lighthouse lighting at Split Rock and, so much more. I'm hoping for a stormy night for the lighthouse lighting and clear skies with Aurora Borealis the rest of the nights.
Hopefully the lakes aren't frozen yet.

Horsing around with some long exposures from the 16th floor of the Hampton Inn in downtown St. Louis. This was the 2nd stop on our BBQ tour including Memphis, St. Louis and Kansas City.
Great food, music and quality time with Kris.
Plus, I was able to have dinner with my old friend Billy Hundley from my active duty Navy days that I hadn't seen in nearly 30 years.
I have some adorable candid images from the, Kansas City Zoo.

One of the few times that I caught a break during the trip and the clouds broke long enough to get that lovely star. Although the rain was my nemesis on this trip, the downpour in the northwest really fit.

This was another night where the clouds crashed my party.
The blossoms in the foreground really helped complete the scene.
I thought the butte on left looked like the super structure of an aircraft carrier with the big square radar. Leave it to an old Navy guy to see that.

My trip to Utah was a blast despite, the weather seriously testing my resolve.
They really need the rain though so, I'll leave it at that..

Come a little closer Jimmy!!!
I often refer to my 100-400 mm lens as my, "moose glass" when we're up roaming around in the Superior National Forest in northern Minnesota.
On this particular day I was able to look to look this "moose of a gator" right in the face from a safe distance. Or so I thought anyway, lol!! I came home with all my limbs.
More to come. Including some cute stuff from the Tampa Zoo.
