If you’ve seen my stories lately, you know I’ve been turning my attic room into an Airbnb room! I’m trying to make it as comfortable as possible. If you were staying in someone’s home, what items would you want to have in the room? Currently I have a tv, coffee maker, and mini fridge/freezer! What else should I add??

I took less weddings this year so I could focus more heavily on my jewelry. And as much as I’ve loved this change, I have deeply missed designing for weddings. This past weekend I got my hands on flowers and got to design for the sweetest couple. I’m reminded that whether I’m building flowers for a wedding or preserving flowers into jewelry, I get to create art that means something. Gratitude fills my heart today as I look on photos from this weekend and dream about all the weddings and jewelry I get to bring to life. 🥰

Owning a business is one of the most discouraging things I’ve ever done. Often times it feels like there are more lousy days than joyful ones. My long days don’t often turn into money, and boy is that discouraging and tiring.
Today is one of those discouraging days, but I’m choosing to see the joy in what I do. This is a picture of wedding bouquet I was able to preserve for a wedding I got to do the flowers for. These earrings will be a precious remembrance of her beautiful wedding, that maybe one day she will be able to pass down to her children and grandchildren. And she will tell them the story of her love and life. And wow..I get to be a part of that. I get to help preserve the very memories that tell her story of love. Maybe today isn’t a discouraging day, but one where I’m reminded of the gift in my business and what I get to do. ❤️

Early this week, I ran away to a little cabin in the mountains of WV. I went to process, write, and dream. There is nothing quite like being alone in nature with your creator. I hiked, prayed, and pressed many flowers into my journal. Running this business has been a dream come true, and covid almost robbed me of it all. I spent some time looking to the past, and dreaming about the future. And let me tell you.. a whole lotta happy flower things will be coming this summer🤗✨🌈
