This is a-dream- with-me-a- little-post

I was fortunate enough to spend some time in Hogsback this past weekend and what a magical place. The potential in unreal.

I think every now and again on this feed I am going to throw out some brainstorming ideas just for the sake of having a public platform to talk about ideas.

So imagine this:
A mountain town that had the feeling of overseas ski villages in the summer. So more bike tracks, well maintained hiking routes. Seriously Uber designer log cabins or over the top double glazed glass cabins that give you an immersive tree feeling experience.

A place for festivals to ‘run free in the woods’ a forest Afrika Burn.

A place for artists, wellness retreats, craft and design factories (yes mini factories of 10- 20) people producing local design. A brewery. Some paddle courts. Lots of sport: trail racing, 200 hour yoga courses, outdoor gyms. Saunas. What would people do if they traveled to try something different.

Little bars and a walking street of food and entertainment. I am not reinventing the wheel. I have had the opportunity to live in a Japanese ski village where they have allowed Australian business owners to flip the script on that towns financial success - the feeling of an international town in a Japanese ski village was so amazing.

Anyway just some musings if I have 1 billion rand that would be one of my little missions.

will be hosting craft workshops including crocheting and beadwork.

will be be doing ‘paint a coffee mug’

And finally a live drama performance about the Easter Bunny at 6:00pm!! Eeek so amped

Kiddies creative activities: beading, bag painting station, face painting. Story writing competition with
