My goal is to prepare delicious meals customized for you and your family in your home. Menu For You℠ is committed to preparing your meals with fresh, wholesome, organic ingredients. My aim is to provide an eating experience that fosters enjoyment, health, and the love of food, using clean, simple yet sophisticated ingredients. I carefully choose every ingredient; from fruits, vegetables a

nd grains, to meat and poultry from fish and seafood, to eggs and dairy. My philosophy is to use as much organically grown, local, and sustainable ingredients as possible. Your safety, health and satisfaction are important to me. Outstanding service, quality of ingredients and a delicious finished product is my goal. Using Menu For You℠ for your home prepared meals gives you more free time and less stress, for you and your family. Less stress and more free time makes for a happier, healthier you! Food is meant to be shared and enjoyed with others. My aim is to assist you in having more time available to come together and share your meals with one another. DINNER PARTIES
Menu For You℠ invites you to be a guest in your own home! Our Personal Chef Service provides in-home food preparation for a wide range of dinner parties from the formal to the casual; plated three-course dinners to buffet service. No matter the occasion or theme, we will design a menu specifically for your event, taking into account your tastes and personal preferences. Unlike most catering services, each menu is customized and prepared in your home for a more fresh and personal experience. An extreme effort is made for you to have a memorable event with memorable food. We focus on using fresh seasonal ingredients, cooked using both classic and modern techniques. No matter which menu theme or direction you choose, our dishes will be sure to delight! Private Party Service includes:
Menu Consultation in your home
Custom menu planning
Prep work and grocery shopping
The Chef and Assistant(s)/Server(s) to serve you and your guests
Cleanup
Prices do not include:
Cost of ingredients, as menus and quantities vary
All dinner party themes are typically 3 courses. These too can be altered for your event. An Appetizer, a soup, or a salad course
Entree with paired sides
Dessert

HOME MEAL SERVICE:

We meet for a complimentary consultation in your home, where I learn about your dietary preferences and restrictions, as well as your eating lifestyle. After I complete the client interview, I will be able to custom design a menu that fits your needs. After you approve the custom program designed for you, a cook date will be set. On your cook day, I buy all of the groceries, then come to your house, bringing all my own equipment to prepare the number of entrees you have selected. In about six to eight hours you will have delicious, healthy, ready-to-serve meals, complete with user-friendly heating and serving instructions. These entrees will be packaged per your request, in one, two or family style servings. You return home to a refrigerator full of wonderful home cooked meals and a clean kitchen. Your meals are ready to serve and enjoy together -- in minutes. A 50% deposit is due at the time of signing a service agreement. Payments for services can be either a business or personal check or cash. Serving Chicago's North Shore and Northern Suburbs. Est. 2012

Another year is in the books, and what a year it’s been! These are my top nine posts from the past year as voted by your ‘likes.’ From the looks of it my personal pics have more weight than my food. Lol

Thank you all for your continued support, business and friendship throughout my life, career and this 12 year of MFY. 2024 has strengthened, inspired and strengthened my love for my family, friends, baking, cooking, travel and discovery. Cheers to 2025 and to what the future holds. This upcoming year will mark a significant amount of change, so stay tuned. I will be stepping back from my PC business and will focus on my oldest sons needs, managing and life skill coaching. More Thanksgiving Dinner Prep! My effusive posts are with reason as I do not cook on Thanksgiving as we are out of town and enjoying a break. Due to college schedules now, I am hosting and getting to join along with most in cooking the Thanksgiving meal. Here we have a Chef John inspired recipe of Make ahead Turkey Gravy made with Roasted Turkey Wings and Mirepoix the the addition of water and made into a stock for 4 hours, strained and added to a Roux made of plugra and turkey fat. Last of the Tomato Harvest for the year. Seventeen Pounds of Tomatoes from Twelve Varieties transformed into an Italian inspired Tomato Soup for Thanksgiving Dinner. Butter, Olive Oil, a few Anchovy for umami, Salt, Parmesan Rind and Red Chili Pepper Flakes. Used the Foodmill to remove seed and skin for smooth texture and easy digestion.
