📣 Summer of Love this Friday @ Garden & the studio 📣

Excited to be unveiling a brand new music 🎶 project this Friday at the Austin Garden and the Studio with Danny and Ganimal. We’ve got a brand new single that we’ll be rinsing out, I’ll be playing live bass, and we are calling it Disco Tribe.

We’ve co-curated a solid lineup with Zkosta, Ron Austin, Ben Jester, and the b day boy himself Brick James 🪩. Closer to the end we’ve got Austin’s very own Nomasters, and then we close it out from 12:30-2am. Last Disco Flair rentals will be donating their decor to help add to the ambiance, helping create quite the festive experience for everyone ✨

All of this will be in alliance with the Colorado River Land Trust, which partners up with ranchers and land owners to prevent major corporations and oil companies from invading the Texas landscape. This helps protect Texas wildlife, and the marine life of the colorida River which feeds into the city. We are suggesting a $5 donation at the door, or whatever you can spare to help the environment

New York 🗽 City has always had a big influence on me musically, dating all way back to listening to the Wu-Tang clan in middle school. So to be added to the Quincy Boy Records summer samps and edits mix was a huge honor 🙏 ⁣

On our track ‘Brooklyn Summertime’ I tried to create what an old school party might have felt like in the 70s. , I recorded live sax 🎷 from the Saxx Doc which was my first time experimenting with that. Lightly added is the ambient vocals of my girl Gemstone 🎙️⁣

I don’t normally get super personal on IG, but Father’s Day always brings me a mixed bag of emotions. But mostly positive ones. ⁣
⁣
My biological father passed away when I was 3 years old. From what I’ve been told, he was an amazing human being, fun loving, and that I look a lot like him. ⁣
⁣
I was lucky enough however the universe brought me another amazing human in my life, that has been my Step Dad since I was 15 years old. He taught me humility, hard work, kindness and patience. I am grateful for the loving family in my life, that supports me and keeps me grounded.
