🎀 What it's like to work with me..:

Maybe you just got engaged, or you've been wanting to start planning your wedding for some time but you don't know where to start. Anyways: you're looking for a wedding planner!

First of all: that's a smart and very reasonable choice. Why? Because working with a wedding planner will save you SO MUCH stress, head aches and fights, but it will also save you money and time!

Every wedding planner has a different approach to their work, so let me tell you a little bit about mine 🤗

After you contact me for an offer, we set up a video call so we can get to know each other and you can tell me all about your wishes and dreams for your wedding. Then, I create a 100% customized offer for you and your future spouse. After revision, we can make some tweaks and changes so that it fits your expectations.

Once our contract is signed, I start right away! Most of the time, I first scout venues for your ceremony and dinner. We can go together, or I go by myself and send you pictures, videos, or we can even FaceTime!
After that, I continue looking for other vendors: catering, photography, decorations, florals, etc. The list is endless, and I help you to cover every single detail.

At the same time, I make sure your budget is being respected by negotiating prices on your behalf.

During the time before your wedding, we are in constant communication. Through WhatsApp, E-Mail, Phone, Skype, in person, etc. While I do the heavy work, I keep you in the loop so that you and your future spouse can take all final decisions. Of course, you can do the wine and cake tasting by yourselves (but I love to join those 😉🥂).

On the day of your wedding, I make sure you can enjoy every single moment and don't have to worry about a thing! If your guests have questions, they can direct them to me.

🎀 Above all else, I care most about my clients' happiness! Even when I look back on previous jobs: seeing people smile has always been my biggest reward. 🏆

For a long time, I thought that the wedding day is the day where I get my reward because it's when everyone is having a great time, laughing and smiling. Today, I make sure my couples feel comfortable and are happy from day one of the wedding planning adventure! So basically I get rewards every day when I see my couples smile, when they send me funny emojis 🥳, and when I feel their trust 😊

How do I get my clients to trust me? By working closely with them. 'How close will we be working together?' you might ask. Very closely! 😉
Basically we are in touch through whatsapp, videocalls, voicenotes, emails, zoom, skype, and of course in person! You can contact me whenever you have an inspiration, doubt, or idea to share.

🎀 Are you exchanging rings during your ceremony?

Did you know that there are endless choices when it comes to unity ceremonies! Have you ever heard of the beer ceremony or of the unity candle?

My personal favorite is the tree-planting ceremony where the couple (and sometimes other family members) take turns adding soil and water to a newly planted tree. I think it's beautiful because you need a lot of patience to see the tree grow, just like a marriage 🌳 🤍

My name is Nicki Taeymans and I absolutely love my work. Nothing feels more rewarding than the smiles on my couples’ faces when they say ‘Yes, I do’ or when they open the dance floor with their first dance! I love creating beautiful weddings, especially for couples who live abroad, have different cultural backgrounds but also for couples who want to have a destination wedding. All these aspects make wedding planning more complex and difficult than a “normal” wedding and I am here to help you through this amazing journey!

For me, it is extremely important that you, as a couple, enjoy every moment of wedding planning. I am there to answer your questions, take care of the stressful tasks and to give you all the support you need. Whether you need help with the whole organization, or only for a small part, at Souvenir Weddings & Events, we make sure we are in regular contact with you: Whatsapp, Skype, E-mail, anything that works for you! Of course, we try to meet in person as often as possible aswell, especially at the beginning of the process and shortly before the wedding date. That way, you know exactly when what is happening, and you are 100% involved in the process, without having to take on complex or stressful tasks!

I love to hear your stories, plans, ideas, so that we can make sure that your wedding really reflects both of your personalites! During our first, non-binding meeting, we will get to know each other and I will share with you tips on how and where to start, how to make sure to respect your budget, and more.
