I first met when I was assisting with a wedding the week after hurricane Matthew hit Hilton Head. We searched for hours together for photo spots without downed trees. We ended up taking the couples family photos on my grandparent’s lawn. Five years later there were no hurricanes (thank goodness!) but freezing temperatures and very windy. Looking at this photo you wouldn’t know it though! That’s what an amazing photographer (and a wonderful couple) can create 💕 Grateful for wonderful wedding teams that help create these fabulous days!

My 500th post! It’s seems so crazy to me that this is #500 but there is no better post for it to be than the first one from my best friend’s wedding ❤️

This wedding was special because I helped plan the actual wedding and I have been pretend planning for 10 years 😂 I got to watch two of my best friends say “I Do” and celebrate with them. I cannot wait to share more from their special day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year has been the craziest, most exhausting, most exciting, love filled year of my career. I still have one wedding left, but I am so grateful for all the people who helped me get through this year.
To all my couples, thank you for your patience and understanding and trust. Celebrating with you on your special days was even more special because of all we went though together ❤️
To all the wedding pros I worked with this year- thank you for all your help and support to make each wedding amazing! I know you all worked a crazy amount of hours to make this season happen. Thank you for your hard work so that people could still celebrate their love. ❤️
To a few special people: .events for working so many events with me. For lots of miles driven, days away from your kids, phone calls and dinners discussing allllll things weddings.
To for working almost my New England weddings, endless phone calls and zoom chats, multiple ferry rides and having me as an unofficial roommate because I was on the mainland so much this year - I’m so grateful for you ❤️

And to my wonderful husband. I think I was away more than I was home this year. Thank you for all you support and help this year. For taking care of me, the dogs, the house and pretty much our life outside of my business. Although you assisted for a few weddings too :) I’m so grateful for you ❤️ 😘
