The name, Gautama is taken from Siddhartha Gautama, the Supreme Buddha. It tells of a boy who eloped from luxury and accepted struggles to understand the truth about suffering. He goes on to attain transcendent wisdom after eight years. It is the story that initiated Buddhism, a philosophy of peace, contentment and love for all living things. The famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso defined the revolutionary developments of painting in the early decades of the 20th century. Just once, wouldn’t you love to be recognised like Picasso, express yourself and portray your creativity with paint for the world to see?
