Witchy Woman Weddings 🖤✨️ I help couples create meaningful, memorable, magical ceremonies that reflect them and their unique love.✨️🖤

Known as the "Wedding Witch of Salem," I meticulously craft and joyously officiate personalized wedding, handfasting, commitment, and vow renewal ceremonies for offbeat couples. By incorporating elements like custom vows, expressive readings, and unique unity rituals, I can help you have a ceremony that you personally connect with – one that honors you and has the power to create a meaningful, mem

orable experience! Your love is worthy of that - and I am here to work my "wedding witch" magic to conjure up the ceremony of your dreams.

I work with local couples as well as folks from across the United States - and beyond - who want to travel to Salem and pledge their commitment to each other here. For travelers, I am a local expert and a valuable resource, able to provide personalized advice and recommendations to help them and their guests plan a successful trip to the Witch City. I also offer basic event planning consulting for all my clients, and have certain décor items and equipment available for them to rent. While I primarily officiate ceremonies in Salem and the Boston Metro area, my services extend to ceremonies across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, and Maine!

Shanna and Justin are the best! These two came to Salem from California, and we originally wanted to do their ceremony at Ropes Mansion Gardens. The weather turned bad so fast on the day of their wedding... so I pulled them into my Jeep, drove us all to Winter Island, went to the Barracks, and we did their ceremony there.

This couple came to Salem from Alabama, and I performed their ceremony outside the Dickson Chapel at Greenlawn Cemetery... look at those gorgeous doors! Nikki and Collin are really into Dungeons & Dragons, so I wrote them a custom ceremony that featured heartfelt D&D references (including elements woven into the personal vows I crafted for them). Soooo much fun! They ended the ceremony by rolling their d20 dice to signify them "rolling with advantage" together for the rest of their lives!😍🐲🧙‍♂️💖

Throwback to Lola and Jason's amazing wedding last September! As it often does, the forecast quickly turned to rain... and we had to move the ceremony from the outside waterfront lawn into the Hooper-Hathaway House. But it was still so beautiful... and this Chicago-based couple and their friends and family were some of the nicest people I have ever met! 😊✨

I love working with all the fantastic couples who find me and decide I'm the wedding witch for them... and I especially love it when they have such a good experience that they write something like this. 😍🖤 Another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review!

Lughnasadh blessings to all of you...
May your harvest be bountiful!
🖤✨️🌞🍞🌽🥕🥔🍓🫛🫐🥐

Today is Lammas, it is one of the 8 Pagan festivals throughout the year called a Sabbat. It marks the beginning of the harvest season. Corn and Wheat fields will be ripe and golden now ready for reaping. At this time spring and summer plants will begin to wither and drop their seeds that will be reborn next spring. The earth is going through a transition now where darkness is slowly beginning to take over light, nights will slowly become longer and days shorter. Death is taking over life as flowers begin to die, trees will drop their fruits and leaves will begin to change colour, cold will slowly start taking over warmth as we head into Autumn.

Today is also known as Lughnasadh (pronounced Loonasa) In Celtic times the day was a celebration of the great Sun God Lugh. The word Lughnasadh means 'Praise Lugh'. It was a time of giving thanks to the Sun God for the harvest and giving offerings of bread, corn and wheat to him. A bonfire would be built called a Lughfire where the offerings would be thrown into it.

This is also a celebration of the Triple Goddess (maiden, mother and crone) who after laying with the God at Beltane is now in her Mother Aspect and has given birth to the harvest bounty we see.

Lammas is a time of personal reflection and our own personal harvest of our actions and deeds, events and experiences, our gains and losses throughout this year. A time when we begin the cycle of reflection of that which is our life. At this time we begin to reap what we have sown for all our hard work we have put in throughout the year. Primarily Lammas is a time of thanksgiving, when we appreciate all we have in our lives and give thanks and show gratitude to the Gods and the earth for their life giving gifts.

The word Lammas means 'Loaf Mass' wheat and grains are a big part of the Lammas celebrations, share a loaf of bread with friends and family today, traditionally over a stew of seasonal vegetables. If you are feeling adventurous you can try to bake some bread, there is nothing like the smell of fresh bread on Lammas.

The God of the waxing Sun is the living Spirit of the corn or grain. As the corn is cut so the God (The Green Man) is cut down also. He surrenders his life so that others may be sustained by the grain, so that life can continue. He is both eaten as the bread and is then reborn as the seed returns to the earth. Death and rebirth. Everything dies and everything is reborn. This is our whisper of immortality and the wonderful bittersweet of Lammas.

On our alter we should put harvest grains and ripe fruit to honour the season and as an offering to the God and Goddess. Also add fresh bread, any fallen leaves and nuts are also traditional. Make a corn dolly or a wheat dolly and put it in the central part of your home to bring luck, protection and prosperity for the rest of the year.

Lammas is a time of excitement and magic. The natural world is thriving around us, and yet the knowledge that everything will soon die looms in the background. Now It is a good time to rid yourself of all that is old to allow in the new.

Hoof and horn,
Hoof and horn,
All that dies shall be reborn,
Corn and grain,
Corn and grain,
All that falls shall rise again.

Lammas Blessings, may the God and Goddess watch over you.

While many folks were out and about in Downtown Salem celebrating North Shore Pride today, I was in Lowell officiating a wedding for two self-described "q***r, pagan, leftist dirtbags" who wanted a special ceremony to celebrate their "sparkly love." They created a special altar with meaningful items, and I created a custom ceremony that featured a call to the elements, a mini history lesson, a land acknowledgement, a call to several deities, an acknowledgement of loved ones who have passed, a handfasting, a loving cup ceremony, custom vows, a reading from "The Little Prince," and many blessings. They gave their guests little boxes of macarons and glorious bottles of Del's Lemonade, and we managed to just miss the rain! More photos to come soon... a wonderful time was had by all. Happy Pride! 💖🏳️‍🌈✌️💍🪢💐🍋🖤✨️

Friday evening was a lovely ceremony at The Herb Lyceum
in Groton, MA... what an incredible spot for a wedding, even when thunderstorms on the horizon required a tent over the ceremony space! This was my second time officiating a ceremony there, and I 110% recommend this gorgeous location for a wedding... the grounds are stunning, the staff are incredible, the food and beverage are perfect - it's all amazing.

Mark and Rebekah were going for a flowery Midsommar theme, and they asked if I could wear something that wasn't solid black (my usual outfit)... I found this gorgeous flowery dress for $30 online, and it was perfect! 🫶💐💍💖

Amen! 🖤🖤🖤 "The rise in nontraditional weddings comes with a new ideology: that there’s no wrong way to celebrate. Whether it’s a $500 Wiccan micro-wedding or a $6,000 camping wedding, to see two people in love celebrate in a way that’s authentic to them should be a blessing."

Officiated a lovely witch-in-the-woods wedding + handfasting in the Deer Forest at today... definitely a unique location for a ceremony! The deer came out a bit later when the staff scattered some corn - I had about 2 dozen does just a few feet away from me at the altar. I can't wait to see the pics from this one! 😃🖤🦌🪢

The sky turned dark this afternoon here in Salem, and I got hit with raindrops while getting out of my car to greet today's couple. But then... the clouds suddenly parted and the sun busted through just in time for me to work some wedding witch magic! Today was a fun handfasting outside the Dickson Chapel at Greenlawn Cemetery for a couple visiting from Kentucky. Can't wait to see pics from the awesome Casey Hill Photography!

I simply adore a madly-in-love goth couple with a gorgeous black wedding dress! Ella and Brad travelled to Salem for the first time from their home in Detroit, and we did a romantic, heartfelt, secular ceremony in the Hooper-Hathaway House at the House of the Seven Gables (). These two were just the sweetest, and it was such a treat to meet them and help them with their ceremony! 🖤 💐 ✨ 🖤

Last October, Logan and Molly travelled to Salem all the way from Kentucky, and we did a sweet, spooky, romantic ceremony at my favorite spot on Winter Island! It was an overcast, dreary day that followed torrential rain the day before... but the love that radiated between them felt like rays of warm sunshine. We had custom leather jackets, Crocs, smokey jackolanterns, a glittery sand ceremony unity ritual, personal vows to Molly's daughter, and lots of awesome photos captured by R. Jackson Photography. What a fun day - I had a blast getting to know them! 🎃 🐈‍⬛ 💜 🖤

I'm always excited to get the chance to officiate a ceremony at the gorgeous Hammond Castle Museum in Gloucester, my favorite venue outside of Salem! Allyssa and Shane are the sweetest couple, and I was so happy to help them create a personal, heartfelt, romantic, secular wedding ceremony. They also opted to have me write their "Love Story," which I composed and included in the script - there were laughs, smiles, and some of us were dewey-eyed (myself included)! It was a beautiful afternoon, and I was so honored to be a part of it. Check out these incredible photos from Amanda Macchia Photography! 💖 🏰 🥂 ✨

It's always a pleasure for me to write a magickal ceremony for a fellow practitioner, and this wedding was no exception! Elissa and Dave traveled to Salem from their home in Pennsylvania to have an intimate gothic wedding with some of their closest loved ones at The House of the Seven Gables. I worked with them to create a custom altar and incorporated some other special elements into the ceremony to honor their style and beliefs, including a handfasting. The unexpected rain that day added an extra moody vibe that made it all the more beautiful! 💀🔮🐦‍⬛☔️🖤✨️

Posting some long-overdue photos from Angie and Ian's elopement at the beautiful Ropes Mansion Gardens here in Salem! Last week, I took a trip over to Harmony Grove Cemetery to meet with their administrator and do a walk-through of their chapel. The Blake Memorial Chapel, a Gothic Revival structure built in 1904 of Cape Ann granite, is truly a hidden gem for wedding ceremonies here in Salem! This nondenominational chapel is simply stunning inside – look at those windows, wow – and can comfortably fit at least 100 people. The cemetery itself is equally gorgeous, and was designed by Francis Peabody and Alexander Wadsworth (who also worked on the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge). If you’re planning a wedding here in Salem, the Blake Memorial Chapel is worth considering for your indoor ceremony – and it’s only a mile from downtown (about a 5 minute drive)! 🪦🖤✨️

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️✨️

So today is the 4th anniversary of Witchy Woman Weddings... how time does fly! My business website went live for the first time on Valentine’s Day in 2020 - and unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic did a complete number on the event industry just a few short weeks later.

At that time, I didn’t really know what to do with my brand new business, except to somehow keep it moving and hope for the best in the future!?

And now, 4 years later – despite going through a long pandemic stretch with very few inquiries – I have been able to help 60+ couples, and I have more than 30 couples on my calendar for 2024.

I am proud of myself. I am elated. I feel so blessed to be able to do this work and to help some really incredible people.✨️

And today – on a holiday that honors love – I was SO happy to spend my afternoon officiating a private elopement at Hammond Castle (my favorite location outside Salem)! Look at the sunbeams. 🌤

Life is good, and I love love! 🖤
