An everlasting loveee 🖤🪩✨. A fusion-filled evening with serving up an exquisite spread of western and local cuisines for M+D's garden reception. Guests enjoyed live stations featuring satay, char kuey teow, a roasted lamb carving station, and Dot’s favorite—a decadent chocolate fondue bar! With a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, the couple and their family wanted to ensure that every guest’s preference was thoughtfully catered to. We ended the night with an afterparty hosted by none other than , just great music and endless dancing! 💃🕺 Sending our love to and , thank you for having us! 🩷

An ‘edible garden,’ as .baker so beautifully calls it! 🌼 Delicate, real pressed florals graced the cake, adding a sprinkle of magic to the moment. Around it, a flutter of butterfly vegan cupcakes, lovingly made for Dot and their cherished vegan guests. 🦋💫 A heartfelt sentiment from the mother of the groom, reflecting her deep love and care, as she wanted to ensure that every loved one present that day wouldn’t miss out on the sweetness of the celebration!

Never thought we'd see daisies blooming from stalks of lotus roots, pearls nestled among clusters of grapes, melons and bitter gourds on handmade ceramics, apples and cauliflowers en masse. 🍈🤍

So many intentional details here ... the first being the floral naming of each table, from hibiscus to allium, they were personalised to reflect Dot's love for blooms! 🌼🌷Raw, unpolished cement slabs were artfully repurposed as table signage stands, adding an earthy, rustic touch to the dreamiest tablescape, all while keeping everything secure from the breeze. We also went with frosted acrylic coasters with gold lettering for place cards. Blending elegance with practicality, their weight keeping them perfectly in place despite the wind. Just outdoor wedding things! 🍃

And lastly, M+D made sure to include their beloved rabbits in their day, creating special place cards with their names 🐰, making every detail feel truly personal.

In their lover era 💗🏹. Soft pastel blooms, disco balls and shimmery butterflies - Dot's absolute favourite! Delicately crafted with a mix of fresh and preserved flowers, even her feather-light bouquet and the enchanting table centerpieces, each piece was thoughtfully designed to be taken home and cherished as a keepsake. Gone are the days when bridal party attire had to match perfectly! Modern weddings now celebrate individuality, and bridesmaids and groomsmen can wear outfits that reflect their personal style while staying cohesive with the overall theme!
Xurene opted for a unified color palette, allowing her bridesmaids to choose the styles that suited them best! You can always take it a step further and do different colors altogether! Each person can wear a different hue that complements the others—picture shades of beige, rust, maroon, and mustard. They don’t match, but they harmonize beautifully together. The same goes for the groomsmen! We’ve had weddings where the men wore different styles, from suspenders to vests and suits. Don’t feel bound to match—create a look that’s uniquely yours!

Why #sustainableevents?
Research shows that the average wedding creates about 272 kgs waste, 63 tons CO2 emissions and 3 tons mining waste. While these numbers may not seem very relatable to some of us, what really hit home for us here at Eventistry was when we saw for ourselves the amount of waste that’s left discarded at the site after each event, and that there are other wastes that our naked eyes couldn’t see. It dawned upon us that as event planners, we are very much in a position to help reduce our earth’s carbon footprint by proposing creative alternatives without compromising on our clients’ dream celebrations needs.

Essentially, here at Eventistry, this means we advocate a modest, non-wasteful nor excessive celebration but what you’ll expect from us is a responsibly planned celebration without compromising on your style.
