We've seen a bobcat, red squirrels, a beaver, jays, hummingbirds, red winged blackbirds, a turtle, chickadees, red tailed hawk, loons, mourning doves, sparrows, a black vulture and crows - all from the back deck of my sister's new place in Lunenburg County, NS. Pretty cool.

I almost stepped on the meat worm who was on the path to Jack Darling Park. We agreed to play when it snowed.

Surreal when something online manifests itself physically in your neighbourhood. Like the reddit two line horror story comes to life in the painted rock above deliberately and playfully placed in a quiet, private place. I could not resist learning more. The more I learned, the less I knew lol.

I have a love-hate relationship with dandelions. This one was heavy with moisture on one of our foggy days last week. For a moment, the sun came out to make it sparkle. I don't know how to capture the diamond glitter, but if you zoom in, you might see the droplets. Isn't it grand!

Sometimes, I forget that all creatures have a natural cycle. On my morning walk, I find Suckers and Salmon, who have finished their spawning cycle and now litter the beach. Sad, but the dog surprisingly was not a bit interested.

Cool 😎 eclipse experience, especially the light and how quiet the birds became when the sky was at its darkest.

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for my step-son and fiancee, recreating a favourite place of the couple, Topaz Lake in Killarney PP. I had fun with lots of thrifted glass containers, Sheridan Nurseries reindeer moss and ferns, and candle light set up in the Cellar, a private room at TWH Social in Kitchener.
