… that Heliconia is Bolivia’s national flower? 🇧🇴 When we were tasked with designing floral arrangements for an Oruro Carnival event (a widely celebrated cultural festival in Oruro, Bolivia) we took inspiration from the super vibrant and colorful carnival costumes, and went tropical using Bolivia’s national flower, Heliconia 🧡💛💚💜❤️

What’s my favorite flower you ask?! Of course it’s hard to chose but Butterfly Ranunculus holds a special place in my heart! Despite their dainty and delicate appearance, these beauties are quite resilient, have so much personality, and last a long time. Their little buds continue to blossom and open up long after they’ve been cut, always leaving me with multiple bud vases scattered around filled with little Butterfly buds. ❤️❤️❤️

Did you know.. Anthurium comes from Greek, meaning “tail flower”. It’s also known as Flamingo Flower 🦩, Boy Flower (hmm I wonder why? 😆), Painted Tongue 👅, and Painter’s Palette 🎨.
