Hi everyone. We’re canceling Salsa Night at Salt City Market tonight. It’s just too hot out. There’s not much shade on the patio. We planned on moving forward since we were getting a later start tonight but it’s still gonna be about 90° at 7 PM. (The Juneteenth event was moved inside due to the heat). Let’s play it safe and dance outside next week. Have a great evening! Join us for Latin lounge at Latin Lounge at Swing Dance Alley - Vintage Edition on Saturday!!

So, I have a huge favor to ask everyone. This Thursday evening, we are holding a fundraiser for F***y Patricia Villarreal at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant in her bid for a NY State Senate seat. There is a suggested donation shown on the flyer. but please show up and show your support for F***y, whether you can contribute that amount or not.

There are many people that will be reading this that know F***y, but for those that don’t, please take a moment and read on….

Many of us have attended the Syracuse Latino Festival over the years. We have enjoyed dancing to the music performed by all of the international, regional and local recording artists and musicians. We have watched the performances by many of the talented dancers. We have enjoyed delicious food and browsing through the crafts and other vendors set up each year at the festival. This wouldn’t be possible without the many hours that F***y contributes, annually.

She is currently the CEO of the Onondaga County YWCA as well as the Founder/CEO/Owner of Nosostros Radio, Inc. Tu Voz Latina / Your Latino Voice.

Please join us as we help lift up one of Syracuse’s own. Come out on Thursday May 2nd from 5:30pm-7:30pm (stay for the afterparty) to show your support while dancing and having some great food and drinks at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant. Salsa Lesson by Felipe Rivera! Let’s also thank Luis Colón Torres for hosting this event. He has offered to continue the after-party on the patio until 9pm! See you there!
