I’ve hit the ground running this week with consultations, timeline building, finishing up my last wedding gallery from 2024, and prepping for my first engagement session of the year this weekend.

I thought I might be grateful to have time off, but I’m actually PUMPED to get back behind the camera again and make some magic! ✨ I am ridiculously excited for everything on my calendar this year, and I can’t wait to share it all with you here in this little space.

As I reflect on the past year, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible opportunities and friendships 2024 has brought my way.

This year, I’ve had the honor of capturing so many unforgettable moments—“I do’s,” sparkling rings, joyful champagne pops, tiny newborn fingers and toes, and stunning locations across every corner of Georgia. My camera and I have been on quite the adventure, and I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it.

To say I’m thankful would be an understatement. 2024 has been a year of growth, creativity, and inspiration, and I can’t wait to see what new adventures 2025 has in store.

If you’d told 8-year-old Elizabeth—running around with her first camera—that one day her love of photography would become her career, I don’t think she would have believed you. This dream has become so much bigger than I ever imagined possible.

I couldn’t possibly have ended this year on a higher note than with Zoe and Bo’s wedding! A beautiful day in Georgia for two beautiful souls to tie the knot 🤍🤍 It was a cold one, but the skies were crystal clear and gave us such a glowy sunset. Zoe put so much love and intentionality into every detail—she even packaged vendor snack boxes for the photography and videography teams 😭

A live band, a packed dance floor, a sparkler exit, and a firework send off ended this December wedding on a magical note! Scroll all the way to the end to see the fireworks!! ✨

Ending November this evening with writing out thank you cards and packing up welcome boxes for all of my new sweet couples who have booked since October—TEN in total! I am overwhelmingly grateful for the couples who have placed their trust in me to capture these priceless memories. I hope each couple knows that they are truly so much more to me than just a name on my calendar. I love hearing about every love story and learning to capture it authentically and beautifully.

There are twenty-seven weddings on my books for 2025 and I’m beyond excited for every single one!

I have one more wedding left for 2024 and can’t wait to get and Bo married this weekend at !! 🫶🏻🥳

Happy Thanksgiving weekend friends! 🤍 Wishing you a peaceful weekend with loved ones thinking of the blessings you’re thankful for.

I know for myself, I’m endlessly thankful for a supportive husband, four wonderful children, a job I love that makes me excited every time I leave the house with my camera in hand, and the most amazing clients who have become friends.

I woke up to three new wedding inquiries for late 2025 dates ✨ Here’s your regularly scheduled reminder that 2025 is soooo close to being completely full, and it breaks my heart every time I have to turn brides away. I have a handful of Fall and Winter dates available next year before I’ll be closing the books.

🍾 You DON’T need a firm date and location to inquire! Even if you’re still touring venues, we can get the convo started.

🍾 You DON’T have to hire a coordinator first (although I certainly recommend hiring one early on).

If you had asked me a few years ago, I would’ve told you that photography was something I loved doing but didn’t see as a forever career. I’ve always been excited about creating beautiful images and serving my clients, but as a multi-passionate creative, I thought I’d eventually phase out photography and move on to something new.

I got a camera for my 8th birthday and I’ve been taking photos ever since! At the start of 2019 my sister and I started Sisters Studio Photography together. Since that time I have been privileged to witness some of the most raw, beautiful moments as I’ve captured weddings, births, and everything in between. Now in 2020 I am rebranding as a wedding and family photographer.

I live in Valdosta with my husband of 5 years, James. I homeschool our adventurous tribe of boys--Irish Triplets, all born within a year of one another. We have a cat named Butter who is completely spoiled and a definite member of the family.
