Probably not great considering it's october 31 and i live in Pennsylvania, but it WAS 80 degrees today and there are plenty of bugs about to eat.

At the same time, you're supposed to be migrating to your hibernation zones, my friends. Where will you roost all winter to stay safe and warm?

Still. I'm enjoying spending this on my porch with tea and bats.

And papaya. She's here too.

I am so excited to be a part of this popup in the Philadelphia Premium Outlets this holiday season!

Meet Sarah Presogna of Ecobota: Ecological Botanicals. She will be joining the gallery for this holiday season.

Sarah tells us, "Combining my work with plants with my love for the environment with a healthy dash of creative outlet thrown in.

"In college, I worked in the herbarium of the Carnegie Museum where I learned first-hand how to preserve and mount botanic specimens for long-term archival collections. It was probably the most fun I ever had at a job - I got to do all the technical science things that I love, but I was also tasked with making the specimens aesthetically appealing. I really missed doing that, and thus Ecobota was born. It is my own intersection of art and science.

"I have a degree in Environmental Science as well as numerous years working in Museums and Botanic Gardens around Pennsylvania so you can be sure each specimen that I wild collect is not damaging the ecosystem in any way."

Look at this cutie. I heard a noise like plastic wrap crinkling in my kitchen but as I'm the only one here, I had to investigate. And I find this adorable trapped in my kitchen, trying to get out of the window.

have you ever wanted to boop a moth? I didn't, because he was small and I'm certain my fat fingers would break an antenna, but he was so deserving of a snuggle.

Turns out this is the adult form of the aka the Eastern Tent Moth.

I think I have transcended to peak Forest Witch.

These Ramps were harvested during the in Erie (with permission of course) and they are now safely tucked into my little woodland garden.

I don't know exactly what will be, but I do know they will be magical!

What a difference a few minutes makes. 10 minutes, in fact.

Photo 1 was taken in , overlooking Lake Erie. Photo 2 was taken only 10 minutes earlier, in the same spot.

The difference between 98% eclipse and 100% is DRASTIC. And it was euphoric to experience.
