But I just want to keep going!

Also, i am contemplating the morbid idea of using not mbta bird legs to finish him (like a starling) because I'm thinking it's going to be hard to make feet. But maybe that's a bridge too far?

Probably not great considering it's october 31 and i live in Pennsylvania, but it WAS 80 degrees today and there are plenty of bugs about to eat.

At the same time, you're supposed to be migrating to your hibernation zones, my friends. Where will you roost all winter to stay safe and warm?

Still. I'm enjoying spending this on my porch with tea and bats.

Meet Sarah Presogna of Ecobota: Ecological Botanicals. She will be joining the gallery for this holiday season.

Sarah tells us, "Combining my work with plants with my love for the environment with a healthy dash of creative outlet thrown in.

"In college, I worked in the herbarium of the Carnegie Museum where I learned first-hand how to preserve and mount botanic specimens for long-term archival collections. It was probably the most fun I ever had at a job - I got to do all the technical science things that I love, but I was also tasked with making the specimens aesthetically appealing. I really missed doing that, and thus Ecobota was born. It is my own intersection of art and science.

"I have a degree in Environmental Science as well as numerous years working in Museums and Botanic Gardens around Pennsylvania so you can be sure each specimen that I wild collect is not damaging the ecosystem in any way."

The have been on my bucket list forever. I never thought I'd get to see them in my own backyard.

#Spring is always a reawakening. Not just the plants, but the back crevices of the mind. In the summer it seems like I'll never forget the #birdsongs, but after not hearing them in the dead of winter when I hear the first notes on those warming February days it's like a whisper of a memory. I can never remember who is singing until they show themselves. Right now there seems to be a flock if #songsparrows parading through my backyard. And lots of noisy #geese flying overhead.
