We are a student-run theater organization at Bowdoin College. Each year, we produce two main stage productions, an overnight show, and a one acts festival.

Masque & Gown is Bowdoin College's oldest student run theater company. We produce two full scale productions a year. In addition we produce many smaller performances and events, such as coffeehouses, an overnight show, and a one act festival focused on student written work. We also bring in guest artists to run specialized theater workshops in areas ranging from clowning to playwriting to audition

BOO! Masque & Gown’s One-Act Festival is here a semester early as Spooky Acts!

Spooky Acts is a low time commitment, zero-experience-required way to get involved with theatre at Bowdoin! After a short rehearsal period, we present three short plays, 10-15 minutes in length. Then, the audience will vote on the show that was BEST-DIRECTED!

You don’t want to miss Sense & Sensibility by Kate Hamill, based on the Jane Austen novel, directed by Francesca Kusserow ‘24! Performances are Friday and Sunday on the museum steps! Bring a picnic blanket and look forward to free gelato and live music!!
