Take me down to the little white church and let’s get married 💕
Peony and Pine event floral is so excited to launch in Spokane and the surrounding area!
Take me down to the little white church and let’s get married 💕
Jewel tones are always stunning 😍 They are so amazing throughout the year not just in the winter months. The rich jewel tones bring so much depth to a bouquet and I highly recommend them 💐
Always take time to stop and smell the roses 🌹
I mean…..a horse with a flower crown…..does it get any better?
Another stunner 😍 Adding succulents in your bouquet is a great way to add some texture and create visual interest.
Faux florals have quickly become one of my favorite things to design! When done properly these turn out absolutely amazing 💕 Our faux bouquets start off at $100
Hi! I'm Ashleigh, women behind Peony and Pine. I am new the Spokane and CDA area but I am most definitely not new to the flower world. I have been working with flowers for over 12 years serving over a 200 brides in my career and creating literally thousands of flower arrangements. After selling my last floral business and taking a year off I am READY to start slinging flowers again! Let's create something amazing!

Come along as design some focal pieces for a wedding ceremony! I let these stress me out wayyyyyy to much the week before the wedding because to be honest I didn’t really have a plan 😜 I had 3 different plans in my head. I knew as I worked through the design I would narrow down what was going to work best. Meanwhile the week before I just lost sleep about it 😂 You don’t always have to have a solid plan to start BUT you MUST give yourself enough time to figure it out. I worked out the details on this design on Thursday for a Saturday wedding. For the love of all brides, DO NOT wait until you are onsite to work out the kinks of big projects. Get the details all ironed out before the big day! I hope you enjoy this type of behind the scenes video. Leave me a comment below to let me know what you think and what you would have done differently! #florist #weddingflorist #floraldesigner #weddingflowers #spokaneflorist #sandpointflorist #cdaflorist
Assuming you can’t afford something! You don’t know if you don’t ask! Too many times I have seen brides not actually tell their florist what they WANT but only what they “think” they can have. They assume they can’t have a meadow or an arch piece etc so that don’t even bring it up during the consultation. DO NOT DO THIS! Do this instead 👇 1. Tell your florist all of the items on your wish list. 2. Talk about what particular flowers you love and which ones that you hate 3. Talk about the overall color scheme and vision that you are going for 4. Let them know you desired priced point Once you have given your florist the whole picture they can work their magic! They will know A) Whether your budget is doable or what you need to cut and B) What flowers, vessels etc to use to make your whole vision work within your budget You see we can quote the same “look” at several different price points. In the higher end version of the look we might use more stems of high end flowers and containers that are more sophisticated We can quote the same look at a lower budget by focusing the more expensive blooms in featured arrangements and using less expensive containers If you don’t give your florist the WHOLE vision they cant accurately quote you. Find somebody you trust and let them work their magic! If they aren’t willing to help you come up with creative solutions then they might not be the right fit for you 💕 Share this with a fellow bride to be! #spokane #weddingflorist #florist #spokaneweddings #sandpointweddings #cdaweddings #eventflorist #weddingplanning
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again @dollartree have got it going on when it comes to vases and vessels! I prefer to spend more money on the flowers vs the container than they are going in. These are actually bowls in the kitchen section but they work so well for centerpieces! These are definitely a cream not a true white so keep that in mind. If you are looking for something that is a little more sophisticated or a true white @hobbylobby has some great options that are super affordable especially when they are on sale. If you are looking for bud vases @amazon should be your go to! They have great bud vase mixed packs that cost just over $1 each vase. I hope this helps with your wedding planning! Share it with friend if it will help them out! #weddings #weddingplanning #budgetbride #weddingflowers #florist #weddingflorist #floraldesigner #spokaneweddings #spokaneflorist #sandpointwedding #cdaweddings
💐🤑 Let’s break it down: Anemones, ranunculus, and peonies – these blooms aren’t just breathtaking; they’re budget busters too! First up, anemones. These delicate beauties boast striking colors and intricate patterns, but their scarcity drives up their price. Anemones require precise growing conditions and are cultivated in limited quantities, making them a luxury choice for weddings. Next, we have ranunculus. With their layers of delicate petals and vibrant hues, ranunculus are a favorite among brides. However, their short growing season and intricate cultivation process contribute to their high cost. Ranunculus require careful handling and specialized care, adding to their price tag. And finally, peonies. Oh, the beloved peony! With their lush blooms and romantic appeal, peonies are the epitome of luxury in the floral world. But their limited availability, short blooming season, and high demand make them one of the most expensive flowers for weddings. Peonies require patience and meticulous care, making them a coveted but costly choice. So, while these blooms may steal the show with their beauty, they also come with a hefty price tag. If you’re ready to splurge on your wedding florals, these flowers are sure to make a statement – just be prepared to dig a little deeper into your budget! #WeddingSplurge #FloralFantasies #BudgetBusters #cda #cdaweddings #spokane #spokaneweddings #brides #weddingplanning #brideonabudget
Planning your 2025 wedding? Here are 3 tips from your florist friend to keep your floral budget in check: 1. **Prioritize Your Petals**: Focus on what’s truly important to you when it comes to flowers. Not every element needs to be lavish. Consider skipping items like boutonnières or corsages if they aren’t a priority. If centerpieces are less significant to your vision, opt for simpler designs and allocate your budget to areas that will have a bigger impact on your day. 2. **Mix and Match**: Combine high and low-cost flowers to achieve a luxurious look without the hefty price tag. A few standout blooms can be paired with more affordable greenery or filler flowers to create stunning arrangements that don’t break the bank. 3. **Double Duty**: Make your flowers work overtime by reusing them throughout your wedding day. Ceremony arrangements can be repurposed for the reception, and bouquets can adorn the head table. This way, you get double the beauty for half the cost! Let’s make your big day stunning, memorable, and budget-friendly! #WeddingPlanning #BudgetBride #2025Wedding #FloristTips #spokaneflorist #cdaflorist #spokane #cda
White peonies can’t always be found so here are 3 great alternatives! Good: Football Mums. These are a creamy white and they give the same big fluffy feel as a peony. There are also super cost effective! I would recommend these is arch pieces, centerpieces and aisle pieces Better: White ranunculus. These are going to be smaller than a peony but they have layers upon layers upon layers giving that same dreamy romantic look. I often pair these with peonies because they compliment each other so well. Best: Playa Blanca roses. There are a good to when you are looking for a nice full rose. When these open they are HUGE and stunning! Literally show stoppers!! These would be my number one pick to replace a peony because they are similar in size and still have that dreamy delicate look. The roses shown above are Mondial roses. These are another fabulous cost effective rose #spokane #cda #spokaneweddings #weddingflorist #floraldesigner #florist #weddings #weddingflowers I hope this helps you!! Save for later and share to another bride!
This has nothing to do with flowers but it’s how I get my energy to make the flowers! This combo with knock your socks off! @just.ingredients makes the BEST protein! No weird after taste and no protein farts 😂 I look forward to this every afternoon and it is helping me to get in more protein! Give it a try and let me know what you think! #protien #cleaneating #entrepreneurlife #smallbiz #sahm
Here’s the thing. Structure is my best friend. I actually hate structure and would prefer to fly by the seat of my pants but with kids that just never turns out well so I have learned to embrace it! Most days but especially on work days we get out of the house in the mornings! We wake up, play, and eat breakfast. Then if everybody gets dressed nicely they get to watch one quick 20 minute show. During this show I quickly clean up the house. That way then we get back there is no mess to clean up. On work days I prefer to pack us a picnic lunch. That way again there is no clean up at home. When we get home it’s time for Theos nap. He naps for a solid 3 hours and this is GO TIME BABY!! 🤪 I set Amara up with an independent play activity and get to work! I design and she plays. I expect about 2 hours of independent play from her during this time. She really can do this much play by herself. I have provided a house full of toys, craft supplies and like I mentioned I think up some activities so I can prompt her if she gets bored. She will usually start to get restless at the end so I will let her watch one more show. I usually don’t allow more than 1 hour of TV per day. I see TV as a tool and I try to use it that way. I am fast ( shameless brag 😜) so I can get a LOT done in these few hours. Then when Theo wakes up I usually stop and clean up or keep working while they play outside. I usually try and start designing on Thursdays so I have 2 works days to get everything done. If I can’t accomplish everything I will wake up and work the 4am-7am shift or I will work from 7pm-10pm when they are in bed. If I have big events that require longer hours I will hire a Mothers helper to come over for the day and watch the kids while I work. This schedule has been super efficient for us thus far! What do you all think? Do you have a different system? #workfromhomemom #entrepreneurlife #momtrepreneur #momentrepreneur #sahm #momlife #florist #weddingfl
They just aren’t my favorite flower. Or maybe I’m just “over” them 🤷♀️ They are stunning but they are so finicky that they just don’t always feel worth it to me. It is hard to get consistent size and quality with ranunculus. Sometimes they come in full and lush and other times they are the size of a quarter. Here’s the kicker…either way they are the same price. They are also very seasonal. Most flowers are available year round. This is not the case for ranunculus. They have to be in season in order to get them which limits the availability to about 5 months a year. What would I recommend instead? Spray roses, lisianthus and mums would be a few that come to mind. Spray roses are stunning when they are open. They have the fullness of a ranunculus in their blooms but you get 4-6 on a stem vs one! Lisianthus are full, lush and have that wispy, playful feel but they have a longer stem and lower price tag. Mums, I know they are old school BUT have you seen a cute little spray mum as a boutonnière? They look great AND hold up!! Trust me in this one. Do you agree with me on this one or are you team ranunculus for life? Let me know in the comments below! 👇
You thought I was going to say “What competition” didn’t you! 😝 Now, now, I’m not that cocky. I absolutely know I have competition and honestly I have been surprised at how many florists there are in this town and how talented they are. It doesn’t bother me though. I have been doing this for a long time. I have sold over 2 million dollars worth of flowers in my career. I have taken my licks and earned my spot in the race. In other words I am not out to prove myself. I am here to serve clients that vibe with me and fulfill my creative needs. I LOVE working with flowers and I also love business. I am not doing this to make a million dollars. Yes money is great but this is more of a passion project for me. I am only concerned with my own expectations and making sure I do what I set out to do. It’s true what they say. Comparison is the thief of joy and there is always enough money and clients to go around. I am happy for all of us killing it in this flowers game. Flowers forever 💐🌹 #spokane #spokaneflorist #flowers #entrepreneur #smallbiz #cdaweddings #cdaflorist
🌹💍 Planning your dream wedding and wondering which blooms will best capture the essence of your love story? Let me introduce you to the timeless allure of roses! Picture this: a sea of delicate petals, fragrant and soft, enveloping you in an aura of romance and elegance. But what makes roses the perfect choice for your special day? Let’s dive in. Firstly, let’s talk affordability. Weddings can be expensive, but roses offer a budget-friendly solution without sacrificing style. Unlike some exotic blooms that might cost an arm and a leg, roses are readily available year-round, making them a cost-effective choice for any season. Now, onto availability. No matter when you decide to tie the knot, you can count on roses being there for you. Whether you’re saying ‘I do’ in the heart of summer or amidst a winter wonderland, roses are always in season, ready to add a touch of natural beauty to your celebration. But it’s not just their affordability and availability that make roses a standout choice. It’s their resilience. Wedding days can be chaotic, with countless details to manage and emotions running high. Luckily, roses are up to the challenge. Hardy and robust, they can withstand the hustle and bustle of your big day without wilting or fading, ensuring that your floral arrangements stay fresh and vibrant from ‘Here Comes the Bride’ to ‘Happily Ever After.’ And let’s not forget about versatility. Whether you’re dreaming of a classic fairytale wedding or a sleek and modern affair, roses are the chameleons of the floral world, effortlessly adapting to any style or theme. From timeless reds to delicate pinks and creamy whites, there’s a rose for every bride and every vision. So, as you embark on this journey of wedding planning, remember the humble rose. Affordable, available, resilient, and endlessly versatile, it’s the perfect choice for couples who want their love to bloom as beautifully as their flowers. Say ‘I do’ to roses
I came across the most WILD thread in a florist Facebook group today! A florist made some stunning bouquets that included light pink stargazer lilies and blue dendrobium orchids Is this my favorite combo? No, not at all but the work was impeccable. A ton of florists in the thread were commenting how ugly it was and how they would NEVER make that bouquet for a client. They would turn down her wedding and tell her to go elsewhere. That REALLY got me thinking. Are we as professionals there to judge others on their style preferences? Or are we there to make the brides dream come true and make sure that the work we do is to highest standard NO MATTER what the color scheme is? I am on team please the bride. The only time I would ever turn down a bride is if I felt our personalities clashed or I felt like I would not be able to complete the vision she was asking for. I would never in a million years turn down a bride because I though what she wanted was ugly and I “didn’t want my name on it” Kanye produces all sorts of ugly things and they sell like how cakes 😂 I don’t think the Tesla truck is all that pleasing on the eyes but guess what Elon is doing just fine. I will always set my ego aside and put my bride first 💕 #spokane #spokanebrides #spokanebride #florist #weddingflorist

Listen, not every girl is a “flower girly” Not every girl has dreamed of her wedding her whole life and can’t wait to plan every single detail down to the perfect petals AND THAT IS OKAY! I have had many brides in my career that are completely honest with me. They let me know that they “kind of don’t care” about the flowers but they know they are necessary and want my guidance in choosing the right blooms. When I have brides like this I am more than happy to help them construct a vision. You really only need 3 things for us to handle your florals! #1 Budget- Give me a ball park budget and I will let you know if it’s reasonable or not. Then we will decide what flowers work best to stay in budget 🙌 #2 A color scheme- I need to know what colors we are working with. #3 A love/ hate list- I like to cover the bases and make sure that I know if you have a certain flower that is a must or any certain flowers that are a hell no! Lol Once we get these 3 things figured out I can handle all the details and leave you more mental space to plan the things that are super important to you! This is YOUR wedding and you should be able to enjoy the planning process not dread it or let it cause you anxiety. Are you a bride in the Spokane area?
