MEET THE FOUNDER
Cat, (born Ji Lan Ji) is a talented photographer, photoshop wizard, videographer, and editor. Her work is published in several magazines, news articles, blogs, and more. She founded LION Multimedia in 2019, branding for startups and charities all across the USA, which lead to her success as a videographer for several major companies. Based in Newport Beach and serving all of Orange County, she specializes in unique portraiture, weddings, and commercial videography, using not only her camera, but her skills in post production to create a high quality product for her clients.
Q&A:
Q: What’s your favorite camera?
A: The Sony a series. Adventure-seeking creators shoot with Sony. Haha.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to shoot?
A: Weddings. Capturing the emotions and memories that will last a lifetime. I want my newlyweds to have beautiful memories to look back on throughout their lifetime, and pass these moments down for generations. The con about weddings is the loneliness, frequently thinking “when am I going to find my soulmate.” But I guess you could say I’m married to the job. The happiness I feel when I have a camera in hand is like no other.
Q: What got you into advertising and brand development lately?
A: Honestly, I needed an extra side hustle after my old camera went missing. Advertising and social media marketing comes easy to me, if the client has the budget. A couple weeks ago I started a social media campaign on my cat for fun, and he’s got eight thousand impressions. I know the social media algorithms very well. It’s how I’ve achieved success on growing my artist brand.
