Moreno wedding! I absolutely loved doing this wedding. We did everything from pew arrangements to centerpieces and even 16 feet of baby’s breath and white roses on the kings table. This wedding came together so beautifully. The garland might have topped my favorite wedding piece I’ve done yet.

Morrissey Holiday Party at the Cottonwood hotel. I tried to match the overall feel of the cottonwood with these deep and moody colors. The roses are called “black pearl” and look like they’re made of velvet. I paired that with some blue thistle, white statice, and isle spray roses. I used an assortment of greens. I of course had to use cedar for the holidays! I had so much fun making these beauties.

The latest reception flowers. We did blush, peach and orange. We combined a variety of roses with peach hypericum berry, ranunculus and stock. The chandeliers were a variety of greens to create an overall gardeny feel. Each chandelier took 1 hour +. Loved how well the centerpieces paired with the burnt orange table clothes.

Do you love having a home feel like Christmas but hate setting it up? I LOVE helping people decorate for the season. So much so that I’ll be offering my services this year. The best part is I can also provide fresh garlands for mantles, tables and more!

Whenever I photograph families with little ones I always advise not to force the smiles.

*the more you force the smiles the quicker they get burned out.

*always start with the solo photos of the kids.

*the more it feels like an adventure the more willing they will be to cooperate.

*let them chase the butterfly or run down the path… it makes for a super cute photo.

Sometimes we go into these sessions wanting the perfect photo of all the kids smiling and looking at the camera at the same time (which we will for sure try to get) but some of the best photos of the kids and family are the candid ones. It’s less stressful for the parents and the kids.

I would love to take your family on an adventure!

P.S. I’m an expert whale spotter… even in the fields of Nebraska.
