I used to be a very active fighter in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). My persona was Norse Irish. and, once I met Morgan/Sally, I was dressed appropriately Norse. People who know me from my Days as Jarl Bjorn Karlsson and my current role as the icon of the season sent me this picture capturing my somewhat schizoid personality

Having fun at the Ninigret Sea Food Festival. This is a prior year's picture that I just found in a local magazine. I need picture from this year. I am always inside the lobster so I can't take pictures. This year was painful from a maintenance stand point The temperature fluctuations required several hours of effort each morning, I can't complain. This is one of my favorite events and I now have families who pose withe the lobster each year! Some families proudly inform me that they have five years of Lobster photos!

Planning this year's wearable Lobster for the Ninigret Seafood Festival. I am experimenting with using a chain weave for the arms of the large claws,. I made the chain several weeks ago to test how long it would last. Looks good. Now I add a 648 for the claws to test how well it handles the weight. Forgive garish colors since this is a prototype I am just grabbing available balloons

This is a "missing Ernie" post. I was working round my taxes with YouTube in the background.
YouTube started playing songs from the Viet Nam era while showing pictures of troops in the boonies. I i looked up and saw that troop had been allowed to walk on the heels of the guy in front of them (ideal for someone to ambush them. I reached for my phone saying that Ernie had to see this one. Sally called out: "He won't answer. He has left us for a while. " Aw crap!" I am still adapting
