We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Spencer County Bicentennial Contest! Thank you to everyone who participated and showcased their incredible talents. Here are our outstanding winners:
High School Category:
• 🥇 $1,000 Scholarship: Tegan Buckman
General Public Category:
• 🥇 1st Place - $300 Prize: Corinne Peers (Dragonfly Landing)
• 🥈 2nd Place - $200 Prize: Iris Peers
• 🥉 3rd Place - $100 Prize: Molly Whitt
Middle School Category:
• 🏆 1st Place - $100: Haylee Goodlett
Non-Traditional School Category:
• 🥇 1st Place - $100 Prize: Ella McClain (age 9)
• 🥈 2nd Place - $50 Prize: Emma McClain(age 12)
• 🎖️ 3rd Place - Award Ribbon: Juliette Massey
We would like to extend a special thank you to the Spencer Magnet for serving as the judge for our contest. With several great entries, we know it wasn't an easy decision, and we appreciate their thoughtful evaluation.
All contest winners are invited to bring something special to contribute to our new time capsule, capturing a piece of today for future generations and get a picture with the Judge Executive.
A huge thank you to all our participants for making this contest a success! Your creativity and enthusiasm have truly made our bicentennial celebration special. Keep shining, Spencer County! 🌟

Did you celebrate with us yesterday? We want to see your pictures!

🌞 A huge thank you to everyone who braved the heat to celebrate Spencer County’s 200th birthday with us yesterday! Your support made the day truly special.

🙏 Special thanks to all of our sponsors, the Spencer County Historical and Genealogical Society, and the Spencer County Library for their incredible contributions.
