We are currently recruiting for FOH staff for the coming Summer season. We are looking for enthusiastic, happy waiting staff to join our team to do just that.
We are a family run catering business covering weddings and events all over Herts & Beds with a very full diary for the coming year. Preferably you will have waiting experience or customer service experience, although it is not absolutely necessary. You will need to have a good can do attitude and not be afraid of hard work; and a driver with your own transport, as we are at different venues each week.
Most weddings are on Saturdays with a selection of shifts starting mid morning to late evening. We cover the lay up, service of all food and drinks and we run our own bar at some events; so bar experience would be an asset but not a necessity. We will train you in all aspects of the role, and provide you with uniform. The main wedding season starts in May and runs through till late September, although we have lots of other corporate events running throughout the year up to Christmas.

Loved event managing on Saturday at Chenies Manor Weddings & Events for Sophie & Kat. Life has really been up against them both recently but what wonderful strong women they are . . they didn't stop smiling all day! It really was a magical day and I was honoured to be a part of it with them ###

Another great year of event managing some fantastic couples weddings! I love my job and being part of Kingfisher Caterers. Each year we get better and better at what we do! I'm so looking forward to 2023, lots of awesome couples and fantastic venues to work with!

Hannah and Ben’s wedding August 2022
Words cannot do justice to what I have to say here ……..put simply Laura, Dan and the Kingfisher team went above-and-beyond for our daughter’s wedding on Sunday. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were generous and the dessert table was groaning with goodies . The Kingfisher serving team were also outstanding – each person was clearly handpicked for their warmth and professionalism and they could not do enough for us. I need to make a special mention here though ; the person who really made the magic happen on Sunday, who co-ordinated every teeny detail, who pulled everything together and made us feel confident that the day would go well, was Laura McGlynn. She was the magician, the “invisible hand” that meant that we had nothing to think about from the moment that we arrived at North Mymms Park Mansion. Nothing was too much for her. Every detail was thought through and every road-block was anticipated. Most importantly, Laura and her team seemed to take the event personally and genuinely cared that Hannah and Ben’s special day was indeed, special . Well done Laura! THank you for the amzing food Dan and thanks again to the serving team at Kingfisher. You cared and we are grateful!

Sunday saw me North Mymms Park Event Managing Hannah & Ben's special day and what a brilliant day it was! Complete with Jewish ceremony by Rabbi Benji, 250 guests celebrated with drinks and canapes in the sunshine, before making their way to the Pavilion for traditional Isralli dancing followed by a delicious 3 course dinner. Cocktails a plenty flowed and they danced the night away! A fantastic day to be part of, one I will never forget!

Another brilliant day yesterday, event managing Rachel & Loopey's special day with Kingfisher Caterers
Rachel was a perfectionist and had a vision in her head of how she wanted her day to be. Lots of conversations, hard work and we got there, and she was so so happy! The venue looked stunning, just shows what you can do with a blank canvas to start with. It makes every second of my job a pleasure to see something come together so well!

What a brilliant day on Saturday! Finally Ellie & Matt had their big day Dunton Lodge Farm Weddings and my first event management of 2022! So great to be back doing what I love best! All suppliers were on top form and the day went without a hitch, so grateful to be part of such an awesome bunch!

I have been meeting with a new venue Dunton Lodge Farm Weddings and am very excited to have my first wedding event managing there in May! So good to be back doing what I love and helping new venues achieve their visions!
We have an Open Day on there on the 15th May. Come along and meet the team and see for yourselves what a beautiful venue it truly is! will be serving some delicious food, Disco Nyts will be providing entertainment and Country Tipis will be showcasing their structures. Fleurdelace will be also be there bringing magic to the decoration! And of course I will be there to meet lots of lovely excited new couples!

So happy to be back doing what I love! Even though the masks are not the best look and the numbers are between 15 and 30, we have enjoyed catering for these lovely clients. With new staff coming on board and a very busy summer ahead I can't wait for the madness that July will bring us! Fingers crossed nothing changes!
