I lost my dad a few days before Christmas and we celebrated his life with family and friends this weekend. Thank you to all of you who have been there for me over these past few years while I’ve tried balancing running my business, being a mom, and trying to be there for my dad as much as I could while he battled through health challenges.

I connected with many of you when I opened up about what was going on and even had cried with one of my customers last year. It was a challenge responding to emails and form submissions quickly and I just wanted to thank you for your patience with me while you were planning big events in your lives as well. I also formed relationships with other balloon stylists that helped take on my orders when I needed help - a special thanks to and Janeen Stack. You all truly helped me when times were extra tough.

I didn’t want to stress out about creating a big install for my dad’s celebration of life so I did this small easel setup and then leaned on Aimee from for helium bouquets for the tables. Thanks so much Aimee! My dad loved to fish so these fish balloons added the perfect touch! He also was very passionate about riding motorcycles since he was young and so we hosted this special night at . He would have loved looking at their incredible display of bikes. I can’t say enough about their staff — they were so easy and nice to work with.

Somehow 2024 was my most successful year yet so thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support! Balloons really bring me joy and it helped me take breaks from what was going on. It also brought my dad joy when I showed him pictures of my setups in my phone.

I decided to take this month off from setups to give myself a rest and more time to be with my family. I’m still checking emails, but slowly, so again thank you for your patience. I hope to make my dad proud this year by being a part of your special days ahead. 💛

my brain has already skipped Thanksgiving 🤪 I got the opportunity to create my very first gingerbread house for the Chicago White Sox front office holiday party yesterday (I chose these pinwheel candy balloons to resemble the White Sox scoreboard) and I think I’ll be making more… at least for my kids! McKenna and I have already talked thru our blue prints so stay tuned! 🥰🎄
