Steve’s strength lies not necessary in his physical body, although he is able to sustain many a crash, but in his determination to follow his calling. Steve has a spirit that is forever hopeful and realistic. He is committed to trying new things and is always learning with a humble mindset.

Steve rejoices in living passionately!

Those who are lucky enough to know him are truly the beneficiaries of his inspiration, his encouragement, and arguably most importantly, his humanity.

Between Jensen’s dry as dust humour and Evelina’s “special” faces, we were absolutely struggling to work our cameras properly. In addition to the joy and laughter, there seemed to be a clear understanding that life is unpredictable, that obstacles are expected to be overcome, and that perseverance is the key to happiness and success.

Our shot ratio for editing these photos is going to be low on this one ;-) and we will enjoy every moment of it!

A bonus was learning about Swedish traditions and connecting with many members of the LGBTQ+ community!

Audrey has a blend of wisdom and childlike tenderness that is special to this exact time in her life. She deeply loves her kitten stuffies and creating her beautiful art. She is a courageous adventurer during our rides on the North Shore and in any body of water we come across. Audrey is wise beyond her years in her ability to heal relationships and communicate her needs. What lessons and joys of being 12 years old bring?

Trail dogs are the best! They come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing is constant: their joy! Let’s take a moment to appreciate the fact these two trail dogs: Fergus (Husky/Corgi cross, 13 yrs) & Ukee (Border Collie, 4 yrs). Fergus is old; he gets in your way and is kind of an idiot around the base of jumps (said with love). Ukee, is incredible in her athletism and focus but barks idiotically when we are starting riding (said with love).

Yes, these dogs are not perfect, but neither are we. One thing is for sure, their love for running through the forest and throwing caution to the wind is a love shared by their wild and happy owners. We are all panting by the end.

Thank you to Fergus, Ukee, and all trail dogs who keep their humans company and follow us (idiots you might say) as fast as they can, with all the trust in their bodies. .jc

It was such a relaxed vibe at Boot Hill Performance; it was clean and the tools and such were all in order.

Graydon and Isha, the owners, shared a sense of duty and hard work while complementing each other in personality. There was no rushing and yet, things were getting done all around. There was a clear sense of community and connection that seemed to ground the local riders to Boot Hill Performance and to trust in Graydon’s knowledge and experience.

The entrepreneurs we have worked with have shared some similar traits: they know their worth and they have done the due diligence to take calculated risks. The success of their companies is reflected in their passion for what and how they do their work. It’s very inspiring to work with such individuals.

The pace and strategy of a corporate film are different than weddings and we love the contrast; it keeps our skills sharp. It’s not for everyone, but the balance works for us.
